Chapter 12 "surprises"

Moon clan has never in history had so many warriors die. We lost so many and it was a lost. The only cats that we had left were me, Flowerstream, Swanfeather, Pinepaw, Berrytail, Applestar, Breezeheart, Toadtail, Silverpoint, Thislefern, Cottonfoot, Orangefoot, Ebonytail and Swiftdawn. Quite alot of cats died that cold night. The greencough incedent passed and everyone was fine, But i was worried about applestar, he only had three lives left after the incedent. I lyied in my den, I found out something, something that could destroy my life. After spending so much time with Sandbreath and the resistance.....i found out i was expecting kits. Yes me, Sandbreath's kits. I was in total disbelife, how could i let this happen. I didn't tell anyone but everyone in the resictance. Sandbreath knew and he was in joy, Pinehollow was happy for me along with klinktail. I didn't know what to do, They were due any time and i couldn't hide it any longer. If i had the kits in moonclan, then cats would ask who the father was and i'd be forced to tell. How could i be so stupid! I was lying in the den when pain over came me like nothing before. No, not now! I can't be! I stood up and hurried out side. It was night and was almost time for the anual meeting of the resisrance. I hurried and made my way to a abandoned fox hole. I crawled inside and clawed the ground. T-This pain, was nothing like i've felt before. It was so intense and painful. I tried not to screech in pain in fear of alerting any moonclan cats. I panted heavily. This was a painful mistake i have made......

I sighed, Three kits, beautiful kits. Two she-cats and tom. The first  she-cat was a red she-cat with white paws, i called her rosekit for her odd coloration. The tom was a handsome pale yellow and white thin tom, he was the smallest of them all and named sparkkit. And the youngest she-cat was a pure white she-cat with small brown specks on her pelt, i called her flowerkit. I licked them softly, I could not keep them. What was i going to do? They were so tiny and small. I knew i had to take them to the resistance and give them to them. I could not carry them all so i left all three of them in the den. I was exhuasted and padded my way to the meeting spot. I saw all of them there. Tigerclaw looked at me furious.

"where have you been" he screeched "your late"

Pinehollow looked at me worried.

"Darkheart" she asked "whats wrong?"

"i-i kittened" i said.

Sandbreath rubbed up agaist my pelt and purred.

"thats wonderful" he said.

"i can't take them to moonclan" i said.

"what why not?" asked Klinktail.

"i don't want to ruin the trust i'm gaining by having my kits there, besides, they belong not in moonclan" i said.

"well, what are you asking" asked Pinehollow.

"Well......i was thinking that You and Sandbreath could take them in for me" i asked.

"are you sure" asked Sandbreath.

"Positve" i said.

"well this might be the gain were looking for" said Brokenstar "if you have your kits in the differant clans then we can unit them easier"

We all nodded.

"show me where they are" said Pine hollow.

I nodded and brought her and sandbbreath to the fox hole. I went inside and grabbed flowerkit by the scruff of her neck. I grabbed sparkkit and rosekit right after and dragged them out as well. I Gave flowerkit and Rosekit to Pinehollow.

"this one is rosekit and the other is flowerkit" i said.

She picked them both up and looked at me. I gave a weak smile before she dissapered with Rosekit and Flowerkit for ever. I turned to sandbreath.

"this is our son, Sparkkit" i said "he is weak but i know you will train him to be strong"

"Don't worry, he will be safe" he whispered.

He picked up sparkkit and looked back at me one last time before he dissapered. I had to do it, i couldn't see myself rasing kits. I padded back to camp. i had gotten the milk smell off my coat so that no one would expect this. This was my secret that i inteneded to keep.

Whoa! i'm on a role today, but i didn't edit this at all so sorry for the mistakes, anyway i had to include this chapter because of some reasons.
