Not possible, No way. She couldn't possibly be still alive. I killed her myself! And yet, there she was. Smiling at me through the screen, alive and well. This had to be some sort of mind trick.
"Zelina Blue," She said. "Hi"
"No, it can't be," I breathed. "But I killed you! There is no way you could be..."
I recalled the night of her death. It was at her place. It was her 14th birthday party, and I had wrapped up a necklace which I had charmed earlier on the week. It was supposed to make her go unconscious for 10 minutes so I could kill her. What a nice birthday present, Happy Birthday Lizette Carlix. I didn't know why I had to kill her, other than what my boss had told me so.
You see, I am an assassin. Well I was, until the job got a bit too pricey. The pay couldn't cover what the uniform cost. Do you have any idea how much black leather boots cost? I lost one like almost every mission, and there was no way would I downgrade to sneakers. As comfy as they were, they would ruin my reputation. But anyways, that's another story.
I remember sticking a long sharp curved blade in her stomach multiple times. Not only that, but I also poisoned her. My partner (absolutely totally HOT guy Jamie Love, (DON'T JUDGE THE NAME, have you ever wondered WHY assassins get the worst names in the world?!)) He's so cute! Once we almost came close to kissing! SQUEE!
Anyway he had shot her in the head more than twice, just in case. We NEVER let nature take its course, even if there is a 0.0001% chance. And yet, here she was, alive and well, blabbering on about some opportunity and once in a life time chance. Hang on, what did she say? I start to tune in.
"It's only a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Take it or leave it! Its either this or a jail sentence, which according to your crimes, would last you for the rest of your life. It would be a shame to let your talent go to waste..."
"I'll take it," I hear myself say. What? Did I really just say that? This was the girl I killed (or tried to atleast) for goodness sake! But I suppose its better than jail for the rest of my life. But what did I just agree to?
"Good," she replies.
And again, everything goes black.
