<LILY POV>
LILY grabbed a sandwich from the kitchen and raced over to the training room to get some practice. Shrugging off the sleep, she settled into her normal daily routine, starting with stretches and laps, then moving on to robot fighting, and then finally her favorite- gymnastics.
A message on the training door said that she would have training today at 2:00PM, so she decided that she wanted to train all day until then. Simon had told her all about the Talent Scouting. They would observe them learning their specialties, and then rank them. The rank you got determined what sort of mission you got. Lily longed to be just as good as Simon, and hopefully be assigned to his group, but to be all the way at the very top, well that would require practice.
AT 12:00, Lily finally finished her individual practice with a flourish- she flipped off the bars with a tripple flip. She always landed on her feet, and she didn't know why. She could never get used to how amazing it felt to be able to do that. It always seemed impossible to do, but she never failed to do it. She had always been able to do it.
'It's my talent, I guess,' she thought as she made her way to the kitchen to grab another sandwich. Usually, she and Simon would go out for lunch, but that tradition was gone as soon as he was brainwashed. Nowadays, she would go grab lunch with Rain, Ivy and the LollyPops, but she didn't feel like doing that today.
Wandering down the corridors, she found herself in front of Zelins's room.
"Wakey, Wakey sleepyhead!" Lily sang through the door. No response. "Come on! I wanna go do somethhing!" She yelled through the door. Still nothing. "I'm coming in! Three! Two! One!" Lily burst into the room. It was empty. 'She must have gone out,' Lily thought. 'Well that's disappointing,'
Then she noticed the bed. The bed was perfectly made, except for the pillow on the floor. 'Now that's strange,' Lily thought. 'Zelina has NEVER made the bed in the history she has been here, and if she were to do so now, why didn't she just complete the job?'
Picking up the pillow to place it on the bed, Lily froze. Half of it was torn. With half a pillow in her hand, feathers gently floated down. 'Now why would she do that?'
'It's none of my business I suppose. I'll ask her at training.' Lily's tummy grumbled. The sandwich in her hand didn't seem so delicious now. Lily happily skipped off. 'I guess I am going to get lunch with Rain and the gang.'
