The days rushed in such a quick manner, as if the universe was waiting for the marriage to take place.
"I can't believe I'll marry that annoying girl." Conolly spoke was swinging his sword in the air.
"We don't have an option." Eason spoke out while getting side eyes from his brothers.
"Is it the same lover boy?" Aiden mocked him while Eason put up his sword to his neck, "At least my fiance doesn't manifest for my death." he replied.
"Done fighting?" a stern voice comes from behind, all of them turn around for their gazes to meet the siren eyes of their elder brother.
"HOW CAN WE NOT?! I AM NOT EVEN SURE WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY OWN LIFE." Conolly speaks while raising his voice.
"Buckle it up." Eldrick replies while Conolly hung his head low.
"I suppose, no one told you about the agreement?" Eldrick asks again.
"Who tells us anything anyways?" Conolly replied back when he was met by Eldrick's eyes shooting daggers at him.
He continues, "The marriage takes place next week, you all know that. The next week my coronation also takes place, as the king of the Carplett kingdom as well same for Queen Alda."
"That's wonderful, I am so excited for your coronation!" Noa exclaims.
"More like you are excited for your wedding." Lovisa replies while the 2 other girls chuckle at Noa's swollen crimson face.
"At least I'll have something to hold on to at that day. Something that will genuinely make me happy." Revena spoke.
"After the debt is done, you can divorce them." Alda spoke while Revena nodded.
"I know, but let's focus on the other things now." she continued.
"Will I have to divorce him too?" Noa asked with her head hung low.
All of the girls laugh at her reaction. "No sweetie, you don't have to." Alda spoke out.
"If you're happy, we have nothing to complain about." Lovisa spoke as Noa smiled again. The smile which can light up the whole palace.
"So, you're telling me I can divorce her once the debt is done?" Conolly asked as he excitedly hugged Aiden.
Eldrick nodded his head.
"That means, I'll only have to tolerate her for 2 years or so?" he asks as Eldrick nods again.
Conolly hugs Eldrick tighter while he pushes him off.
"Behave yourself. You're a prince Mr. Conolly. I am genuinely surprised about how Aiden and Eason are well mannered than you. First, you push princess Revena out of your room and now behaving like this? What are you a 5 year old?" Eldrick raises his voice at him.
"I swear Conolly if you deny her to enter your room again, I'll have to seal your marriage." Eldrick threatens him.
"No no no, I'll treat her well." Conolly replies immediately.
"Good. The same applies to you both too. Dare to insult my sister- in- laws and you'll see." Eldrick warns them as he goes away.
The three of them looked at each other dumbfounded.
Eldrick spots Revena in the corridor roaming.
"Good afternoon princess, why don't you go to your dorm? he asks her.
"You mean your brother's? He'll not allow me to enter and it's his dorm after all, who am I to complain?" she replies.
"His wife." Eldrick replies immediately.
Before she could reply, he continued, "Just go on, I promise he won't bother you."
"Yeah, alright." Revena answered without asking much as she knew it was of no use.
He smiled as he bowed and moved away.
"He's a good man, nothing like his parents or his stupid brother." Revena mumbled under her breath.
