Revena was with Lovisa in her room... "Is something bothering you?" she asked to Revena.
"N-Nothing." she replied.
"You can tell me, maybe I could help you." Lovisa said again.
Revena let out a sigh and told everything about yesterday to her and Lovisa laughed out loud..
"Why are you laughing like this? Did I told you something funny?" she asked being annoyed..
"Well, I am not laughing at you, I am laughing at Connoly's behaviour." Lovisa said..
Before Revena could say something, someone knocked the door...
Revena made Lovisa cover her face, "Come in" she said and Louis entered the room..
She gave Lovisa a sign to leave. "Can we talk?" he asked and Revena nodded... "About yesterday, I am sorry, I didn't know where my mind was..." he said... "No,its alright, I should've pulled away too..." she said. "So, we are still friends right?" he asked her to which she nodded...
Revena was looking tensed so he asked her, "Is there something, bothering you?" with that he hold her hands and said, "We are friends right, you can share."
Revena told her about Connoly and he said, "You don't have to pay attention to his words that much, he's such a jerk."
"He might be rude sometimes but he helped us so much, treating Noa to helping me and Alda and bringing Lovisa here so that Eldrick couldn't find her..." she said and continued, "As well as Eason and Aiden..."
"Well, its good then but is Lovisa safe cause there are guards everywhere." he asked..
"Don't worry, the maid whom you saw just now was Lovisa, no one can find her..." she said..
"I see, prince Connoly is smart I guess..." he said and hugged her one last time and was about to leave the room when Noa came there with Conolly..
" Revena, prince Connoly was teaching me how to hold a sword..." Noa said smiling...
"Let's play a sword game, I saw Louis is pretty good at it.." Noa said again.
"Not now Noa, I have some work." Connoly said and was about to leave when Louis said, "Prince, why don't to keep the wish of her? or are you scared?"
"LOUIS" Revena slightly shouted... "What? Am I saying something wrong? He's a prince, I am sure he won't run away like a coward..." Louis said again..
Connoly poked his cheeks with his tongue and said, "Sure." Louis smirked at his words...
There was already a sword fight going on in the ground with the new soldiers... Everyone was present there.. Eldrick would just keep the good ones and kill the bad ones cause they were of no use.. Everyone in the palace was made to watch that..
Revena sat there with Noa and Lovisa standing at the back... Aiden was also present there...
Eason told about Connoly and Louis to Eldrick and he gave the permission...
They both came to the ground and Louis smiled at Revena and Connoly looked at her with the same dark gaze...
Whole palace was silent. Revena was anxious about the results, she just wanted none of them to get hurt.
"It is just a game not a real fight, you will not hurt each other" Eason said to both of them...
"It may began." Eldrick ordered...
REVENA'S POV-
They both bowed at each other, and moved towards each other keeping the same pace... It was a general game for most of the people there... There was pin drop silence all over the palace, only the slashing sound of the swords could be heard... every gaze was fixed upon the 2 bodies with swords moving towards each other... It seemed like they both complimented each other.With their fighting scenerio, it could be assumed that like they both were the same souls but in different bodies... Louis smirked and tried to push the sword towards Connoly's chest but he defended himself... The fight was getting intense throungh the passing time... "Louis is trying to hurt prince Connoly." Aiden said...
"What should we do?" Lovisa responded..
Eason told the thing to Eldrick but he ordered him to sit down quietly...
"Why don't prince Connoly do that too?" Noa asked..
"He is tied by the rules... The prince I know, will never break the rules.." Aiden replied..
Connoly tried his best to defense himself while still trying to disarm him...
Louis's sword hit Connoly's right arm and he began to bleed, still he continued to fight with him.. This boy, why can't he surrender?
END OF POV-
"EASON! stop it!" Revena said..
"Eldrick won't let it to stop." Eason replied...
His sword finally touched his chest leaving a deep cut, Connoly fell on his knees but with the sword still in his hands, Louis smirked but his smirk disappeared when Connoly stood up again...
Revena stood up and went to Eldrick, "I beg you, please stop it, its not a game anymore..." she said.. She pleaded infront of him.... Seeing Connoly hurt, made her heart pain... It was like he was bleeding but it was hurting her..
Eldrick refused her plea.. It angered Revena, Connoly was stumbling yet didn't stop... It was too much for her now, she went to Eason and grabbed his sword in her hand... "What are you doing?" he asked. "For your kind information, I am a great sword fighter." with that she went to the ground leaving everyone dumbfounded...
"What is she up to?" Aiden asked...
"I don't know, but I believe in her." Lovisa replied...
Revena went in the ground, the guards tried to stop her but Eldrick signaled them to let her go...
Louis was about to attack Connoly again but Revena collided her sword with him pushing him back... Louis was astonished with her action and so was Connoly...
"I'll fight in place of him." she said as Noa's cheering voice could be heard throughout the dead silence...
"Revena, you can't do that, it would be unjust, prince Connoly is already defeated..." Louis laughed and said...
"Well, the way you hurt him, the way you fought was unjust too..." Revena said as his smile disappeared...
"Everything is fair in love and war, moreover, you're a girl Revena, I don't want to hurt you..." he said again.
"We'll see that." Revena responded...
The fight begun and to everyone's surprise, Revena was a great warrior, just like him, she started trying to hit him too... After a few moments, he could sense blood coming out from his arms...
"Revena-" before he could continue she said, "It is so fair in war." with one swing of her sword she threw his sword far away disarming him...
The whole dead crowd cheered, shouted like there was no tomorrow...
She just made his arm bleed, making him taste his own medicine... The guards came there to take Connoly and Louis from there... She looked at Connoly who was bleeding...
She went to Connoly's room who was sitting there to give him some food...
He spoke in a cold tone,"I really appreciate how you stood up when you saw something wasn't right... I should thank-" this time before he could complete Revena went near his face, their faces just inches apart, "You don't have to thank me, it was just my way of paying you off, because you helped me and my sisters... And, it was a pleasure watching you suffer.." she said..
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... You hit my wound." he screamed...
"JESUS! where? Does it pain too much? Should I call someone?" Revena spoke when Connoly put a finger on her lips to shut her, "It was a pleasure watching you suffer~" he mimicked her...
Revena was embarassed and she stormed out of the room locking the door harshly...
Connoly smiled...
