Connolly went out of the room and saw Eason and Aiden standing in the hallway, "So?" Eason stated. "So what?" Connoly asked.
"Ugh, it was so good teasing you, don't ruin my fun.." Eason said.
"Eason, stop behaving like a newborn baby.." Connoly replied.
He continued, "So Aiden, did you find anything, or any information that could help us in some way?"
"I, found an old book lying in the basement, at one corner, it's written, " The Hidden Fate" on the top." Aiden said.
"God job Aiden, did you see what's inside that?" Connoly asked.
"I did, but the book seemed to be centuries old, the pages are torn, we can't read anything properly." he said.
"Do one thing, take it and show it to Lovisa, maybe, she'll know something about it and I'll stay back in the palace. Just say them that, you're going to find and kill her and not taking the gaurds as you don't want her to know that Eldrick is trying to kill her." Connoly said.
Aiden nodded at his words.
"I knew it" Eason jumped in between...
"You knew what?" Connoly asked him..
"That you'll send Aiden to Lovisa and you'll stay here in the palace... Ask me how?"
"How??" Connoly asked.
"Well, that's simple, I've been observing you two, Aiden likes Lovisa and you, like Revena.." he said with a teasing smile...
"WHAT? NO?!" Connoly and Aiden shouted together...
Eason laughed aloud...
"We don't have time for your stupid jokes, Aiden, get to work." Connoly said.
Aiden bowed and went out.
Connoly sighed and turned to leave, "Where are you going? Revena?" Eason asked and Connoly stopped and glared at him...
Aiden moved towards the cottage again, and saw Lovisa drying some seeds in the sun.. "Oh, you work too?" he asked.
"I am going to kill you someday." she said.
"Sadly, never." he said.
"By the way, I found this book at the basement, do you know anything about it?" he asked...
Lovisa recognized the book...
"This is the same book, that I found months ago, and came to know about the locket and helped Eldrick in finding it and then it disappeared..." she said.
"You mean, Eldrick knew about this book?" he asked.
"I think so, if not, how will he find out about the locket? and the sacrifice?" she said.
"Then, what is it doing in the basement?" Aiden asked.
"I think, he's trying to trap you all, he's trying to see if anyone who finds this is loyal to him or not." she said.
"Oh, you're so smart Lovisa." he said sarcastically.
"Don't forget, he has the locket." she said.
Aiden went back to the palace and told Connoly everything she said...
"Can we take Quinn's help?" Eason asked.
"I don't think, he'll believe us at any cost."
Aiden said.
"He won't believe us, but there's still a chance for you Aiden. And how will we know without trying?" Eason said.
All of them nodded their heads and Aiden spoke, "I can try."
"Aiden, just try if you can, we'll go, Eldrick called us, he wants us to seize the other kingdoms, he's planning that." Connoly said and they both left...
Aiden went to Quinn's cell, he was so hurt, and weak, the blood dried up from his body...
"Who?" he asked.
"It's me, Aiden." Aiden replied.
"What do you want?" he asked.
Aiden sat on his knees besides him and said, "I know, it won't matter, what I say, you won't believe me, but I just wanted to tell you that, Lovisa is alive and Queen Alda is ok."
"Really?" he asked.
"Yes, in fact princess Revena and Noa are ok.. Noa's getting better... Believe me, if you want I'll take princess Revena here to meet you.." Aiden said.
"Thank you son." he said.
"Can you do me a favor? I know it's too much and not good to ask again but still, can you?" he asked...
