CHAPTER-33(You've changed)

Revena was roaming around the palace during night, cause it was the only time, everythng was silent and peace could be found... She saw a figure from the balcony practising sword...

She went down towards him and said, "You really improved.."

"Thank You for the compliment.." he replied and again started his practice...

"You know, I have a lot of queries to clear..." she said..

"I know Revena, shall we talk?" he replied..

He told her how Eldrick made him the chief gaurd and also how he improved himself... Revena told him everything from the first...

"I am not sorry for you Revena" he said.

"WHAT?" Revena asked confused.

"The Revena, I knew, would never like sympathy from anyone.." he said..

"R-Right" she replied..

"Anyways, Thank you for today, if you didn't helped, Eldrick would've tortured me to death." she said..

"The Revena I knew, would never be scared of death.." he replied..

"I know" she said..

"You've changed..." he said chuckling..

"You've change-" before she could complete, Louis tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears and said, "But Revena, I am still the same..."

Revena froze in her place, hearing his words...

He bursted out laughing..."My God, look at your face, you're the easiest target of mine, always..." he said while laughing..

Revena started hitting him on his shoulders and chest, "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS MAKE FUN OF ME?" she said as he ran around and she started chasing him to beat him.... both laughing like they're enjoying their best time...

Connoly was watching them from the balcony tightening his fist and gritting his teeth... 

"Ok now, we'll stop this... It won't be good, if someone sees us like this..." Louis said..

"Well, I think, I'll go to my room now... Good Night." she said..

"And, I'll practice... Good Night." he said.

Before Revena turned to leave, she called him, "Louis?"

He hummed in reply..

"Are you really the same?" she asked and continued, "I mean, we are still besties right?"

"Ofcourse Revena, nothing will ever change the fact, that we are best friends..." he said and smiled..

Revena nodded and walked away thinking that finally there is someone with whom she can talk freely about everythin and anything...

Until she confronted Connoly, standing with his hands behind his back...

She just looked down and tried to walk away, when he said something..

"Do you know him?" he asked..

"Yes, he is my childhood friend." she replied.

"Childhood Friend? Does Eldrick know this?" he asked but before she could reply, he continued,"Ofcourse not, or why will he be choosen as the chief guard?"

Again, before she could speak he said, "Its midnight, go to your room... Don't roam here and there..."

Revena slowly nodded and left.

He looked at Louis who was practicing the sword... "Best Friend?" he mumbled under his breath...

Lovisa went to the dungeon as it was the right time...

She called him softly, "Aiden?" but he didn't wake up...

"Aiden?" she said a bit loud but there was no result..

"AIDEN?!" she shouted but luckily no one heard and Aiden shook opened his eyes...

"Why did you shout?" he asked.

"Cause, you were not waking up." she answered.

"Any updates?" he asked..

Lovisa nodded her head and told him about Louis and Revena..

"NEW CHIEF GUARD?" he started to shout when she put her hand on his mouth...

"Don't shout fool.." she said.

"Did that Eldrick thought that, someone could take my position that easily?" he asked..

"I don't know but-" she begun.

"But what?" he asked her...

"While coming here I saw him practicing sword fight, and I guess he was better than you.." she replied..

"Just let me out from here..." he said..

"Don't say that, he's a kind guy... I know him too..." Lovisa said..

"He liked you or something?" he asked..

"What? No.. He liked Revena and confessed her one day I remember but she rejected him saying they were too small." she said.

"Sounds like her" he said.

"After that, he left this place and you know, Revena was kind of depressed saying there was no one she could talk to as he was her best friend too... Now that he is back..." she said..

"You think that, they'll fall in love?" he asked...

Lovisa nodded and said, "By the way why did you thought that he liked me tho? Like, no one ever liked me cause I am not as pretty as Revena, Noa or Alda.." 

"No, don't say that, any guy will fall in love with you..." he said..

"Really? Like, for sure?" she asked..

"Yesss" he said..

"Aww, thank you.." she said..

"Just, his eyes should be damaged..." he said chuckling...

"I'll kill you Aidennnn!" she said..

"Shh! don't shout, or before you kill me, you'll be dead yourself..." he said..

Without saying anything, Lovisa glared at him and left...

"I guess, some one has already fallen for you, Lovisa" he mumbled under his breath...
