The sudden shut of a door made me wake up from my sleep, I groaned and reached my arms over to pull Andrea against me.
But to my surprise there was no one there, I stretched my arm out as my eyes slowly opened. I looked to the side and saw the space where Andrea was meant be. Empty.
I slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard of the bed, my eyes wondered the room and noticed that all her stuff was gone.
I turned my head to my nightstand and noticed a paper note siting upright on it. I picked up the note and read it in my mind.
"I'm sorry I have to leave. Something has come up with my family and need to help them. Because they are currently the most important thing to me".
I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face, because of the fact that she left a note. I wondered back over the words "my family and I need to help them" and the words"most important thing to me".
It made me realise how much Andrea cared about her family and how much she loved them, they were her favourite thing.
For me however, it was the opposite for me. Family became the thing I cared the least about and my friends where the thing that replaced it.
Growing up the way I did, with a horrible family. Never feeling like you ever fit in with your OWN family.
But with my friends it was like we all fit together, it was never like that with my family. I always felt different, which I guess I was being a Black in Gryffindor.
To me it was never "family means blood" it was "family isn't defined by blood".
But for Andrea it was "family means blood", she always put family first. It was the most important thing for her. She would fight, kill and die for family. Because it was all that she could relay on, when she was in her worst moments. Her family was the only thing that could help her. Throughout all her years of being on the run from her "father" and protecting her child from all her enemies that her and her family had gained. The only thing that every helped her though it was her family, and their bond 'always and forever' that made them stick together for a thousand years. Even though her family doesn't always have the best bond...... That being her brother Niklaus dagger going into the hearts of her other siblings for their "wrong" doings. But when it came down to it and one of them needed help, they would die for each. And go to great lengths just to protect each other. Because in the end they were family. And that meant sticking together. Always and Forever.
I think every day I've spent with Andrea, my Interest in her grew.
I thought for a while and started to realise that this bet idea might not have been the best idea. I guess I've started to care about her and if she ever found out about the bet, she would be so hurt. And I knew I could do that to her.
But then I've never in my life backed out of a bet, and if I did what would people think? It would ruin my pride if I ever did back out.
So if she was to never find out then it wouldn't be such a bad thing to continue it. And I would get money if I continue it and not lose my pride.
++++++++++++++++ The next morning, I woke up James and decided to let him know that Andrea had left. He seemed okay with it but always questioned why she wouldn't tell me the actual reason.
We both asked went downstairs to see his parents having breakfast. We decided to ask them if they knew about Andrea leaving because normally they would be awake around the time she left.
But neither of them knew about it, in fact they even said they didn't know what happened last night.
This confused me because how did they forget everything that happened last night. Their faces made it look like they had forgotten like it was erased from their minds.
But that theory automatically left my mind when I saw bacon on the table and went straight to eating it.
