Harley pov

Today, I got on the bus with Evie again and we sat across from Addie and behind Blake and Riley today. Addie, Blake and Riley are my best friends and they have been all throughout high school - when I first met Blake and Ri - but I've known Addie since I was born. And it makes me so happy to see how they treat Evie because they all love her as much as I do. I leant forward next to Blake's head and began to whisper to her, "Can I talk to you when we get to school?" I asked, resisting the urge to kiss her cheek in front of other people.

"Yeah sure," she said, dismissing me which sort of upset me. If you hadn't already noticed, I'm easy to upset so I just brushed it off as nothing.

"Hey," Evie said, pulling slightly on Blake's hair which caused her to turn around. "Harley told me a secret," she said mischievously.

"Not now," I whispered to Evie with a laugh, "Secrets stay between sisters."

"Oh okay," she agreed, pulling her knees up to her chest with a slight thoughtful expression, "Harley?"

"Yes Eves?"

"Are we sisters?" She frowned.

"Of course we are. We have the same mommies and the same last name which definitely makes us sisters," I giggled.

"That's good," she said, turning to Adelaide who was reading a book.

"Addie?"

"Yes Evie?"

"Do you have a sister?" She asked sweetly.

"Nope and I don't have a brother either, it's just me and my mom and dad," she shrugged dramatically.

"It's okay, me and Harley will be your sisters," she said, tapping Addie's shoulder comfortingly which made her laugh.

"Thanks Evie."

"Ri—"

"She has a brother and Blake has ten year old sisters who are twins," I interrupted before Evie could ask the same question two more times.

"What are their names?" Evie asked, clearly wanting the attention of the girls in front of us.

"My brother is called Charlie," Riley said, turning around to look at Evie, "He's nineteen."

"My sisters are called Sienna and Avery," Blake said just as the bus pulled to a stop outside Evie's school. "Bye Evie."

"Bye Blakey." The nickname she used melted my heart because that's what I call Blake and Evie didn't even know.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Blake asked, coming up beside me as we walked into school.

"I told my mom about us," I said with a nervous smile.

"You did what?"

"I told my mom about us. She's not going to tell anyone, don't worry," I said, linking our hands together which she quickly dismissed and pulled her's away.

"You weren't supposed to tell anyone," she spat, "I haven't told anyone."

"That's your choice, Blake, I wanted my mom to know," I said, pulling on her hand to stop her from striding off.

"I didn't! I can't talk about this right now, Harley, I'll see you later," she said, stomping away from me to catch up with Riley.

"Trouble in paradise?" I heard from behind me.
