3rd POV: The MK team rushed to the scene as beams of light and fire shot everywhere. Mk spoke up.
MK: "Ok team! Seems as if they'd split up a bit. Sandy you and I will take DBK, Piggy and Tang have Iron Fang."
Mei: "And I've got Red son!"
They nodded. And grammatically jumped off the building.
MKT: "It's Hero Time!"
Red Son: "Oh! What a shocker! The Noodle boy and his friends came to the Ball!"
Iron Fang: "Then let's dance" she giggled.
The two teams fought with both seemingly equal at first. MK's side tried their best to keep each opponent separate. While the ladder went all out trying to ensure victory. Mei and Red managed to separate themselves from the group in their own little battle field.
Mei's POV: "Oof!" I said after being flung to the brick wall behind me. I'll give the guy some credit. He knows how to throw a punch at least. "I see you've been practicing" I teased. "Oh please. You haven't the slightest idea Princess" he giggled. My mind blanked for a couple minutes. "Princess?" I laughed. His face almost immediately turned as red as his hair. "Uhg! Shut up!" He snapped still blushing. I took the opportunity and lunges forward knocking him back and landing a few hits. "Daw. You were working all this time just so you could see me? How sweet" I continued. He was so fun to mess with. "I DID NOT! I am simply trying to help my family take over he World!" He shouted still flustered. "What are you even doing? It's been a while since you've guys even stepped out of your layer, seems like" He Began attacking again and managed to grab my sword "Only the greatest idea yet. When we're finished ALL OF THIS CITY WILL BELONG TO THE DEMON BULL FAMILY. And I RED SON! Will finally obtain the power I desire!" I kicked him back and pinned him against the wall. "Power?! What do you need more power for? Your already the son for a immortal Demon!" "Get off me you PEASANT!" I got kicked back. "You realized there's more to life then just obtaining power right?" I asked firmly. "Not mine! All my life has been trying to obtain power. Everything! If there's more to life then that then I haven't seen it." My face softened. "You mean... you never choose this? None of this?" His face began softening too. It was that look you give when you realize something you never realized was a thing. "RED SON!" We both looked to see DBK starring at us form afar. My team was down but not out. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" "FINISH HER!" Panic Filled my eyes. But when I looked up Red son had the same facial expression. "F-what!? You never said anything about ending them!" "Did I stutter boy? Do it!" He looked down at me with sympathetic and terrified eyes. "Fine! Then I'll do it!" DBK said "NO!" Red son created a fire blast that knocked his father down. Seeing Red's shocked expression I managed to squirm away. He didn't stop me. I got back with the group and Red boy ran to his. "Father i-I am so sorry. I-I wasn't thinking straight and then the fire just kinda-" "Shut It!" The DBK family finally gave up. As they were teleporting away me and Red locked eyes. He mouthed "Sorry" and then they disappeared.
MK: "WOOHOO! We won!"
Everyone began to cheer but I was still in a state of shock and worry. He- let me go. Why? Why didn't he want to hurt me? And is he going it he alright? Is he truly evil? Or was he forced to be?
