DragonFire 🐲🔥 (A Dragonfruit Story)

Gathering the first Piece.

Mei's POV: Inch by inch we crept in. It was dark and damp. Even without being able to see you could feel that something was there. Red son made a flame in his hand.
Red son: "It's dark. We might wanna stick close so we don't get lost." Heeding his advice I moved a bit closer to him. Suddenly I felt another memory. I whispered.
Mei: "I think it's coming from over there"
We looked and saw what looked like a little patch of fur. We stepped just a bit closer. It was a Huge fuzzy beast. Sleeping soundly.
Red son: "Oh brother"
The piece of the orb was wrapped around its neck as a necklace.
Red son: "How are we going to get it."
I smirked
Mei: "watch and learn"
I climbed on its belly and ever so slightly reached for the orb piece. I carefully slipped it off. Then hopped back down gently.
Mei: "And that's how you do it."
Just then the monster turned over to its side. Putting it's hand on it's chest it realized the gem piece wasn't there. It's eyes opened and it panicked until it saw that I had it.
Beast: "HEY THAT'S MY SHINNY OBJECT! IT BELONGS TO ME!" It roared. It gave chase. If that wasn't bad enough it kept swinging punches at us.
Red son: "GOT ANY OTHER IDEAS?!"
Mei: "NOT AT THE MOMENT!"
Suddenly I felt Red son grab my hand and pull me to a gab in the cave. It was kinda small so it was a little uncomfortable. The beast guarded the exit. Mad as ever.
Red Son: "Now what?" He whispered to me. I pulled out my phone for a second thinking of texting Mk when an Idea came to mind. We looked at each other with mutual understanding.
Mei: "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
Red son: "I think I might just." He smirked.
Mei: "Yoo-hoo! Hey big guy! Over here!" I shouted from afar. The beast ran up but I ducked away before he could reach me.
Red son: "Not feeling very bright now are you?!" Red shouted from over head. It became a game of whack a mole. As we popped in and out of small holes and crevices using my phone's Flashlight and Red's Fire to distract him. Causing it to become dizzy. We couldn't help but laugh at just how much fun we were having. Finally we made it out of the cave. The monster, dizzy but not disoriented, chased after us. My phone buzzed.
Mk: "Mei! Is everything alright?"
Mei: "Yeah! Just being chased by a giant furry Beast! Nothing much!" I said sarcastically.
Red son: "We got the first piece! Now hurry up and Get Here!" Red shouted. We're so close!
Mei: "We gotta make sure this thing doesn't hop on the ship with us!"
Red son: "Leave that to me!" Everyone made it back on the ship. Tang started it up. Everyone cheered as we made a jump for it. While in air I grabbed Red son's hand, tossing him higher. His hair turned to a fire as he summoned a whole Fire tornado straight for the beast's face. It yelled in pain. As I zoomed up and caught Red before he fell. The ship finally assented and we flew off. We laid down for a moment catching our breaths. I looked over to him. And Suddenly I heard red son chuckle, then laugh out loud. I began laughing myself.
Red son: "Did you see that!"
Mei: "That was Crazy! Especially with that tornado flame!"
Red son: "O-oh. Well I. Uh. Just winged that to be honest. That idea back at the cave wasn't bad."
Mei: "I-it was just a game of whack a mole." We laughed on the floor for a good minute. Till finally calming down.
Mei: "And you said you didn't do fun." I teased. He blushed slightly.
Red son: "Eh. I'm full of surprises I guess." Another pulse then came from the orb piece. Knocking him back.
Mei: "Are you alright?"
Red son: "Yeah. I'm fine." He said rubbing his forehead. We stood up to look at the orb. Tang was going complete fan girl mode.
Tang: "OMG! ITS REAL! WE'RE ACTUALLY HOLDING A PIECE OF RELIC FROM THE GODS! SOMEONE GET A CAMERA OR SOMETHING!" Sandy pulled him into a calming hug.
Mk: "Should we try it out?"
Pigsy: "Would it work with Just one piece?"
Mei: "Maybe not all of it but. Some perhaps." Everyone turned to red son.
Red son: "Let's see." He said. Walking over, he took the orb piece in his hands. The orb piece began glowing brighter. An aura slightly formed. Suddenly Red's eyes snapped open. His eyes glowing bright blue. He fell back,Accidentally causing him to loose grip. Thankfully I caught it before it could break.
Mk: "Red son? What happened?"
