Red Son's POV: I was practicing my powers a bit when I got rudely interrupted.
Mei: Hey! WOAH
Red son: Huh?
Oh. It's just dragon girl again.
Red son: What do you want?
I asked slightly annoyed.
Mei: Well 1 we're almost at our first destination and 2 I just wanted to see what you were up too.
Red son: Well if you must know I am simply training a bit. You never know who are what could be out to sabotage us on this mission.
She looked confused
Mei: Well I mean sure but it's just a peach blossom Valley.
Red Son: Still. It could very well be inhabited by something.
Mei: If it is what's to say that they are hostile? Hmm?
Red Son: Who's to say they aren't?
Mk: Guys look overhead!
We turned to see a huge valley full of trees with blossoms on them. Lush green grass and a beautiful view of the sun as it set over the horizon. It was enough to take my breath away.
Tang: Woah!
Sandy: It's so beautiful!
Mei: Well what are we waiting for let's land!
She said exitedly rushing with For eyes up to the control panel. Noodle boy got everyone to huddle up.
Mk: Alright. We should split into teams so we can cover more ground. Pigsy your with Sandy, Tang your with me. And Red your with Mei.
I grunted a bit
Red son: I'd prefer to be called by my full Name thank you.
Mei: Ok Red Boi. *Giggles*
With that we all split off into different directions. Me and Dragon girl headed Northeast going towards the hillsides. My memory wasn't getting any stronger yet. Tho I could be because I kept getting distracted.
Mei: This Place kinda Reminds me of my family's Garden.
Red son: *Sarcastically* How interesting. Is it as bright green as everything else in your household?
Mei: ... How did you-?
Red son: The robot we sent to get that sword off you that one time had a built in camera in it. As most of the machines do. And to be quiet frank I didn't really expect to see a teal green museum. All Those artifacts must have coast a small fortune to replace.
Mei: Yeah. Thankfully my parents weren't really that upset about it. Tho my dad still misses his pin ball machine. Tho honestly growing up there was really boring.
Red son: How? Your surrounded by millions of powerful and ancient artifacts form your own family.
The amount of power you and your folks must have is incredible.
Mei: Yeah but it's not like I could do anything with it. I couldn't really have all that much fun as a kid. Like rough housing, or playing in the dirt. You know girlie stuff.
Red son: Hmm well guess it's no issue now huh?
Mei: nope. These days Fun is in my middle name. I get play video games, Race around on my bike, go on wild adventures and kick butt!
Red son: Hmm. Typical.
Mei: What about you? Do anything fun?
I thought for a moment.
Red son: Eh. Not really. Unless you count building weapons of mass destruction as a hobby.
Mei: Really?
Red son: Really.
Mei: Ever played tag?
Red son: I hate being touched.
Mei: Hide and seek?
Red son: Boring.
Mei: Not even a sport?
Red Son: Ugh! Enough. I don't play silly games. And don't play any sport. End of story. Besides we're on a mission anyway so the less fooling around the better.
Mei: Whatever you say.
We came across a river stream near the hills. It wasn't impossibly deep but it was wide. I groaned at the idea of getting my jacket and shoes wet. But I didn't have a choice. I was about half way when.
Mei: *Giggles* Hey Red Boi take fast.
Red son: What?- *Gets splashed with water* Ah! Hey!
Mei: *Laughs to herself*
I'll show her.
Red son: Oh yeah? *Splashes Water back*.
*Giggles slightly*
Mei: *Laughs* oh it's on now! *splashes water again*
Red son: Oh why you little-!
I had enough and tried to catch her to make her stop. Her laughter was ringing in my ears. Until I realized she wasn't the only one laughing. Without thinking I lunged and finally grabbed her arms. Causing her to be pulled more towards me.
Red son: GOTCHA!
I finally said. Suddenly a flash of a vision came in my mind like a pulse. And I think she felt it too. Our eyes widened as we turned our attention to a cave settled perfectly into a cliff side. It was big, and dark. And didn't seem friendly at all.
Mei: You thinking what I'm thinking?
Red Son: That we're going to ether get that piece or die trying?
Mei: Mhm. Exactly.
We turned our heads and realized that I was still holding onto her arms.
Red son: 😳 Oh uh... *Cough* well Anyway let's not waste anymore time.
I proceeded to walk a bit quicker then her to avoid her seeing my face.
Mei's POV:
Red son: Oh uh... *Cough* well anyway let's not waste anymore time.
He said whilst avoiding eye contact. I was blushing too from the feeling of his hands touching mine.
You know Honestly, Red boy is kinda cute when he's embarrassed.
