Somethings Off

Red Son's POV: My mind was racing with a thousand thoughts at once. Everything felt so... surreal. That and I was also terrified about my father. We were so close and yet of course SOMETHING WENT WRONG! Well more like I did. He didn't say much but I could tell he was upset. Sort of a silent scolding as you will. I was pacing  in my lab getting more frustrated by the minute. What's going on? Back at the battle. That question she asked. I-it triggered something. Like a fragment of something I lost yet I have zero clue of what.
Princess Iron Fang: Sweetheart. Are you ok in here? You've seemed slightly anxious since we got home.
I turn to look at her
Red Son: I'm not sure mother. By the way is dad still mad at all? I asked with a slight squeak.
Princess Iron fang: Oh he's a bit upset but you know he doesn't hold anything for too long. Besides it's not your fault. You know that.
Red son: I know. It's just... *sigh* Just disappointing.
Princess Iron fang: I understand. Now tell mommy what else is on your mind. Hmm?
Red son: ... Have you ever had the feelings hat something just isn't right? Like there is something missing that you never noticed was missing before?
Iron fang: Well- I mean sure I guess. Why is there something wrong?
Red son: Ever since I fought the Dragon Girl this morning I haven't been feeling the same. I-it's like a plot twist in a movie but I don't know what lead up to it.
Iron Fang: What do you mean? Did she say something to make you upset?
Red Son: We got into an argument and then she asked If I really choose to do villainy or not. And this is going to sound weird but it's like brought back some sort of memory.
Iron fang: memory of what?
Red son: I don't know. And that's the issue. It was so fuzzy I couldn't make out any of it.
I could see the wheels turning in my mother's head. Clearly confused herself.
Iron fang: Are you sure you haven't just gained a crush or something? I know love can feel weird at times. Your father couldn't quite put his finger on what he was feeling till I explained it to him
I felt my cheeks heat up
Red son: W-what?! Ppfftt! No of course not. B-but anyway no. It's not that I promise you it's something more. And I don't know when or how! But I will figure this mystery out!
I announced triumphantly as I left the room now needing air to get myself to stop blushing. What is happening I don't know!

3rd POV:
As Red son left the room Iron fang stared for a few minutes. Until slowly her eyes turned to bring blue as a voice that wasn't her own spoke through her.
"Hahaha! Foolish Boy. If it's a game you want than its a game you shall have. Oh! But be warned. I don't play fair".
