Questions and Concerns

Mei's POV:
MK: WOOHOO! That was great team! Nice work!
Pigsy: Agreed. Hey how about I fix us all up something to eat? Huh?
MK's team besides Mei: YEAH!
Pigsy handed me a bowl but to be honest I wasn't all that Hungry. I couldn't get that look Red son had out of my head. And the way he mouthed "sorry" as he left. It was so... so genuine. Ugh my head hurts.
MK: Uh Mei? You alright?
I heard MK say as his hand touched my shoulder.
Mei: Huh? Oh I'm fine yeah. Why?
MK: Cause you seemed a bit tense. Plus your slightly blushing.
My eyes shot open. And I grabbed my phone immediately. "Crud! I have been blushing." I thought to myself. I turned back to see everyone staring slightly concerned and confused.
Mei: I-it's I'm just a bit tired that's all. It's been a long day.
I explained with a fake smile.
Mei: I should probably get some sleep. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
MK: well... ok? If you say so. But if that's the case can I have the rest of your noodles?
I shrugged
Mei: Sure. I didn't really touch it anyway.
I began walking home hoping maybe some rest or something would clear my mind. Besides this could all be a dream to begin with anyway. A very feverish dream but a dream non the less. As I continued I decided to take a short cut through the wooded park so I could clear my eyes from the blinding neon lights of the city. As I walked I started hearing a noise. Like mumbling mixed with the sounds of pattered feet along the grass. I turned my face to the noise and out of curiosity tried to see what it was. Looking down I saw footprints of where someone walked. The grass underneath their feet getting burned as they moved. I started getting the since of who this was but I still wasn't sure. Tho I did clutch on to my dragon sword just in case. I inched closer and closer and with every step the sounds got louder. Finally I reached the source of the noise. Peaking my head I must have tripped over a root as I fell comically on my face. I quickly got up and saw
Mei: Red Boy?!
Red Son: Dragon girl?!
We stood in silence for a minute.
Red Son: W-what are you doing here? Other than make a fool of yourself.
I bit my tongue but answered
Mei: Well I was walking home, heard noise, wanted to see what it was ACCIDENTALLY tripped and well now I'm here. But the better question is what are You doing here?
Red son: I Red SON! Do not have to tell anything to a peasant.
I raised and eyebrow and just looked at him till he finally caved.
Red son: *sigh* But if you Must know. I was just simply getting some fresh air. That's all.
Mei: Mhm as well as mumbling and burning the earth beneath your feet.
I chuckled slightly.
Red Son: You think your funny don't you?
Mei: Yes
Red Son: Hmph
Awkward silence fell again. Now that he was here in front of me I knew I could ask questions.
Mei: Hey um. Listen I don't mean to bring up fresh wounds but remember this morning? When we battled each other?
Red Son: If this is about you bragging about your victory then I-
Mei: Nononono! Not that. When I asked you that question. You had a look on your face. Like you were a mix of realization, Confusion, and question. What was that about?
His eyes widened
Red Son: I- I don't know... That question. Turned to some form of... memory. And I don't know how to explain it.
Mei: What memory?
Red Son: I DON'T KNOW!
He turned and sat at the cliff edge we were standing on and slumped down slightly. I could sense frustration in his voice. I didn't know what much to do so I just sat down next to him. He looked up at me and sighed.
Red Son: That vision or whatever. I can't make it out completely but it seemed so... heavenly. And full of light. But that's about all I can tell.
Suddenly an idea arose to me
Mei: Maybe we can find away to gain your memory back!
Red Son: Like how?
Mei: I could ask tang if he knows of anything! And besides MK is literally the Monkie kid!
He chuckled
Red Son: You want me to ask help from your silly little friends and and "hero"? Haha! You must be kidding me?
Mei: we'll unless you have a better idea and or feel like being trapped in whatever it is that is troubling you I think it's worth a shot.
I said sarcastically.
He thought for a minute.
Red Son: Oh alright. But I don't have to like it!
Mei: Didn't expect ya to. Now Come on! Let's a go!
I said grabbing his arm and bringing him along.
This was about to get interesting.
