Chapter 22: Celebration

For the last day of the school year,there was a party. Banners were hung all around the lobby with streamers and balloons. Little kids playfully popped everything,while the big kids hung out near the drinks and food stand. There were all kinds of cuisines and food! Kevin and Andrew were amazed at how the party was organized. First, Vice Principal Giant Skeleton sparked up his bomb to make it shine and made it a substitute to a disco ball. Izzy and Kevin danced together, while Andrew kept bragging about his dance moves to a baby dragon who wasn't even paying attention to Andrew. Other people danced happily. Next, everyone had food. Kevin, Izzy, and Andrew all ate cheese pizza together. They chatted about all the drama that had happened this year.
"This is the best thing that happened yet," Kevin remarked, gazing at the disco ball.
"Except that disco ball," Andrew replied with disgust.
"It's a pretty unique substitute though," Izzy blurted out.
"Seriously?" Kevin and Izzy laughed.
"I think we'll go dance now..." Kevin murmured, then smiled.
"What?" Andrew asked curiously.
"Go show off your dance moves," Kevin replied, smirking.
"What-no!" Andrew complained, frowning.
"After all that teasing, you deserve it..." Kevin muttered, Izzy nodding along.
"Fine. I'm not making an embarrassment of myself this time." Andrew murmured. He walked to the stage, and did his dance moves. Some people laughed, and some people stayed serious. Andrew frowned at the laughter.
"HEY YOU ALL! I CHALLENGE YOU TO A RAP BATTLE!" He yelled,
"How about me?" Someone asked. It was a blue haired boy with a red cap and white shirt.
"Wait a second,aren't you,um,the famous rap battling ice wizard?" Andrew gulped.
"Yeah,the name's BF," he informed Andrew.
"On second thought,I should just leave." Andrew told BF.
"No no, I want to see your skill." BF told Andrew.
"Fine, fine." Andrew muttered. They rap battled, and as expected, BF won.
"You got tight bars, little man," BF remarked with a grin.
"Just like Garcello once told me." he whispered.
The rest of the party went really well. Kevin was amused at all the rap battles Andrew lost. Andrew was mortified. Kevin and Izzy thought it was hilarious.
The best part was that Kevin and Izzy got to kiss.
"I love you Kevin," she murmured shyly.
"Me too Izzy. Forever." he told her, blushing.
"I'm so happy you're staying over this summer!" he exclaimed,changing the topic.
"Me too," she whispered. Then the two walked over to the booth and drank some soda and juice.
Parents came to pick up kids. They tried to act serious, some even complained,but they were happy to see their kids again. They missed their kids.
"Attention,parents! I have truly enjoyed learning with your kids this year. I cherish moments spent with them. I am sorry for any scolding,but that doesn't mean I'm not fond of you. You all are unique kids,and very curious,it seems. Keep it that way. Try to look at the world in a new perspective,though. Battle could occur any second,and you're attending partially because you need to learn to battle. You need to save your village. I am looking forward to continuing the learning next year with you all. Parents,please collect your child or children's reports at the office. Thank you." Principal P.E.K.K.A lectured. Kids cheered,and some parents took their child's hand and went to the office.
"When is Dad coming?" Kevin groaned, as the last couple of kids left with their parents.
"Soon," Izzy replied.
"Oh, there's your dad!" Principal P.E.K.K.A exclaimed.
"I'm just going to say, I'll truly miss you guys." Principal P.E.K.K.A told them.
The Golden Knight collected the reports,said his goodbyes,waved off the eager audience following him, and he and the three kids got into the limo.
"So kids, how did you like school this year?" he inquired, checking himself in the car mirror.
"The beginning was tough, but in the end, everything changed." Kevin replied.
"Yes, yes. So, will you go again next year?" Golden Knight asked.
"Sure!" Kevin and Izzy replied, but Andrew remained silent.
Golden Knight soon picked up on Andrew's silence.
"How about you, Andrew?" He asked, putting the spotlight on Andrew.
"I-um.sure!" he replied reluctantly.
"Okay," the Golden Knight said.
At home, the three relaxed and talked about all the drama in the past. They wondered what would happen next year. Little did they know, it was coming sooner than they ever thought.....
