Chapter 8: The Shock

The next day was short due to Electro's concert that day.

"Let us begin," Electro said.

Opera music began to play.
Principal P.E.K.K.A murmured,"Not this song,"

He sang,"ZAAAPPPPP! ZAPP! ZAPPING ALL MY ENEMIES!"

"Wow,this is kind of good..." Kevin said.
"You seriously like opera?" Andrew asked and they both laughed.

After the song,Electro requested,"Now,for the next trick,I will need a volunteer."
Andrew raised his hand and Electro called,"How about this handsome fellow here?"
Andrew smiled,and on stage,he flicked his ponytail.
"I do not know your identity yet, but I will soon reveal it to all of you." Electro said.
"Who is that anyways? Oh,probably Prince Andrew. All of the staff know about his ponytail flick here," Principal P.E.K.K.A laughed,and soon Kevin joined in.

He cast a bolt of lightning,and Andrew went still. He didn't even blink.
Kevin knew this was Electro,the grand wizard,but he still felt worried.
"Give me a minute,please," Electro said. After a moment,he frowned.
"Uh oh. I may have done something a little wrong." Electro murmured. Everyone gasped.
"Though,I can tell you his identity. He is Prince Andrew,heir to the throne." Electro said,smiling.
"What about his crown?" a minion demanded.
"Yeah!" another minion agreed.
Soon,an argument arose in the auditorium.
"SILENCE PLEASE!" Principal P.E.K.K.A yelled,and everything went pindrop silent.
"I don't really,um,know." Electro said sadly,in reply to the minion's question.
"Wait,what about what went wrong?" Kevin asked.
"He's kind of , well,paralyzed." Electro replied.
Kevin was speechless. "Seriously?" he asked.
"ELECTRO!" Principal P.E.K.K.A snapped. Electro frowned again.
Principal P.EK.K.A turned to the audience and told everyone,"We may have to postpone the battle. All students have to participate." Everyone booed and groaned.
Kevin asked,"What about my big brother? When will he be repaired?"
"That I don't know. Though,this happened before." Principal P.EK.K.A replied.
"You may all clear out," Principal P.E.K.K.A said, and added,"Kevin, if you want, you can stay."
Principal P.EK.K.A turned to Electro and slapped him in the face.
"What. Have. You. DONE!?!" Principal P.EK.K.A yelled.
"I'm sorry," Electro said.
"I will NEVER let you perform here again!" Principal P.E.K.K.A exclaimed angrily and added,"Now LEAVE." He held up his sword, which could do a lot of damage. Electro snapped his fingers and disappeared.

Principal P.EK.K.A dialed a number into his phone. "Hello? Yes,I need an ambulance, ASAP. Very serious damage has been done. And it's the prince. So make this quick."

A few minutes later,some nurses hurried into the room. They put Andrew,who was still a statue, on a stretcher and carried him away. Kevin looked sadly, as his world became dark and lonely.

"Oh well, I'm sorry about what happened," Principal PE.K.KA told Kevin. Kevin nodded sadly,but he noticed something was wrong. Principal P.EK.K.A's voice sounded way deeper.

"Um, Principal P.EK.K.A? Are you okay?" Kevin asked worriedly.

"I SHALL KILL ELECTRO!!!!" Principal P.EK.K.A yelled. He moved a lot faster than usual, and ran down the hallway, where Electro was standing.

"Wait, no! Don't kill Electro! It was just a mistake! I'm sure Andrew will be fine soon anyways," Kevin replied, panicking.

Suddenly,the mood changed. "Since when would I kill Electro? Though I am a little mad, he is my best friend." Principal P.EK.K.A laughed.

"Well, you can go to your dorm now," Kevin was confused. Was principal P.E.K.K.A joking? Or was he serious? Kevin reluctantly walked away from Principal P.E.K.K.A, away from the nurses, and away from... his brother. Kevin felt a ball forming in his throat. Before he could stop himself, tears were leaking down his cheeks. He wiped them away, and held them back. Why did Electro have to be so stupid? Why? Kevin wished this place didn't have to be a thing. It was causing everything to fall apart. His family, his friends, everything. Kevin had a plan to avoid every single person, no matter what they said. At his dorm, he went to his suitcase and took out a picture with a golden frame. It was the family's picture. His mom, the Archer Queen, was wearing a purple gown. The Golden Knight wore his golden armor that he wore to every single special occasion. Kevin was just a baby.and the Archer Queen held him. Andrew stood in the middle, and he was half-smiling. Kevin smiled at the photo, but tears started to form. He missed his family. Kevin decided to call his parents and let them know what happened, but he heard panicked voices coming from the floor below.

"Where is my son?" a voice demanded. Kevin recognized that voice. It was his dad's voice.
"U-uh forgive me sir uhm Electro he uh-" Principal P.E.K.K.A stuttered.
"SILENCE! WHERE IS MY SON!?" Golden Knight interrupted.
"He's at the hospital sir." This was the first time Kevin heard Principal P.E.K.K.A scared.
Golden Knight marched out of the school, mumbling. "I knew I shouldn't have even sent them to this stupid school." Kevin decided to go downstairs.
"Um,guys?" Kevin mumbled slowly. The Golden Knight turned to him. His look turned from very angry to affectionate.
"Hello,son. We found out what happened." Golden Knight said.
"Where's Mom?" Kevin asked.
"On another mission. She's quite busy this year due to the loss of alliances." Golden Knight replied.
"Oh, nice," Kevin said.
"Don't disappoint me, Kevin. I know how you feel, but we all love you the same. I'm gonna go check on your brother. I'll be right back to talk about something." Golden Knight turned and left the school. Kevin went to his dorm and thought about his dad's words. After repeating his dad's words about 10 times, he realized that he wanted to talk about why life was so bad. After a minute, the Golden Knight entered the room.

"Look son, I love you very much. I am really sorry for what's happening. I just didn't know the school would be,well,this bad..."

"You literally ruined my life," Kevin muttered.
"I'm sorry." the Golden Knight said.
"You are just too protective," Kevin complained.
"We just wanted you to enjoy life and look like good parents," Golden Knight said.
"Well you didn't!" Kevin barged into his dorm, and slammed the door behind him. Then Kevin remembered his dad's words. Kevin didn't know why he did that. He heard his dad about to leave.
Kevin rushed downstairs. "Dad, wait! I'm sorry I-I don't know why I did that."
"It's okay, Kev," the Golden Knight said.
"Life is just-just so hard as a prince!" Kevin complained sadly.
The Golden Knight hugged Kevin, and Kevin hugged back really tightly.
"That's more of a Mom thing, if you ask me," Kevin said, and they both laughed really hard.
"Why don't we go visit Andrew?" the Golden Knight asked.
"Sure," Kevin replied excitedly. They got in Golden't Knight's limo and drove off.
"Is he still shocked?" Kevin asked as they drove.
"He can't move but he can talk," the Golden Knight replied. Kevin smiled at this.
"You know, your brother loves you very much," the Golden Knight told Kevin.
"I know..." Kevin said. "I know the meaning of teasing."
"Guess what? Andrew didn't know. That you loved him." Kevin blurted out.
"I am aware of that..." the Golden Knight chuckled. They both kept smiling until they got to the hospital.
They kept turning through corridors and hallways until they reached a room. A sign was written in fancy handwriting,'Please do not disturb.'
"This is it," the Golden Knight murmured. The two opened the door and went inside. There was Andrew,lying in the bed.
"Hi Andrew," Kevin told Andrew.
"Hhhhhiii Kkkkevvvinnnnnnn," Andrew said weakly.
"You okay???" Kevin asked.
"YYyyyyyyesssss,ttttttheyyyyyy juuuussssstttttt neeeedddddddd ttttoooooooo
gggggivvvvvvve meeeeeeee sssssommme mmmmeddicineeee," Andrew replied.
"Not good," Kevin muttered.
"When will you be better?" Golden Knight asked.
"Innnnn a mmmmmmonthhh, bbbbbbbbbutttt Iiiiiiiii wwwwwwwwwon't beeeeeeeeeee ableeeeeeeee to pppppppperformmmmm the sppppppeeed bbbboost,I can't rrrrun that much." Andrew replied.
"Oh," Kevin said.
"Can I stay home until Andrew gets better?" Kevin asked his dad.
"I'll see into that." Golden Knight replied.
"No, you will DO that," Kevin demanded.
"I'll try my best, young man," the Golden Knight told Kevin sternly.
"Ok fine," Kevin said.
