Tony Stark's Daughter

Chapter 17

"I just want to know if there is anything else. If we, did anything wrong." says Natasha. "I want to know if we can help if anything."

"I geuss there is one thing. I geuss sometimes I feel left out, you guys are always going on missions and sometimes it seems like you don't care about me." I say.

"Oh love, we all care about you so much." says Wanda.

"Yeah Lady Sasha, I care for you dearly. So does my brother." Booms Thor. Loki rolls his eyes at Thors comment.

"I'm sorry, I don't go on missions, so i feel left out sometimes. I feel like I have lots to prove being part of this family." I'm already embarressed for saying these things so I don't stop.

"Honey, what do you mean?" Pepper asks.

"Well I'm the daughter of the genius and hero Tony Stark, so I have to be smart, I live with the best archer, the best russian spy. I friends with two Gods for damn sake." My eyes start to tear up, "I feel like I'm never good enough, I always have to do better and be better."

"Kid, you don't have to prove anything. You are smart, and you are a great fighter." Says Steve.

"Thank you, Steve. That means a lot."

"Well Sash, I'm going to get you a therapist so you have someone to talk to and help with your... your self harm." says Tony.

"No dad I don't want a therapist." I complain.

"Your dad is right. Even if it's only for a bit." Pepper says. I roll my eyes but agree. I'm sick of arguing.

"I'm going to go to bed. I'm tired." I say.

"Okay, sleep well honey." Says Tony.

Everyone else says goodnight and I walk past Loki to my bedroom. Loki runs after me grabbing my arm to stop me.

"I'm really proud of you. You just told everyone about your cutting. That's really big." Says Loki. For the first time he pulls me into his arms for a hug. 

"Thank you Loki. I'm sorry for Tony." I say into his chest.

"It's fine. He was just being protective." Loki says pulling back from the hug.

"Can you come back to my room with me? I want to talk to you in private if you don't mind." I ask.

"Let me get something from my room and I'll meet you there." Says Loki.

We head our separate ways and I get to my room.

Loki walks pass the common room to get to his room and Tony calls for him.

"Reindeer games. Can I talk to you."

"Sure." Loki says.

Tony comes out of the common room and goes around the corner with Loki. "I just want to say sorry about earlier today." Loki can tell it's taking a lot for him to say this. "I also want to say thank you for helping Sasha. You were there for her when I was clueless on what was happening."

"It's fine about earlier. And all I want is to keep her safe." Loki says. Loki doesn't like Tony all that much but he deals with his bullshit just for Sasha.

Tony and Loki part their different ways, Tony back to the common room and Loki to his room.

Loki grabs his things and heads to Sasha room.

I hear a knock on the door and Loki comes in a little after.

"What did you grab?" I ask.

"Nothing important. So what did you want to talk to me about?"

"I was wondering if you really meant what your said about me being a friend." I say.

"Of course I did. Your the first person who has made me feel like a better person, other that the oaf of a brother I have to deal with." Says Loki coming and sitting down beside me. "Since I've come here, you have been the nicest and I'm grateful for that."

"I'm glad you think of me like that. You have definitely helped me a lot. I owe you." I say. I wrap my arm around his waist and lean my head in his shoulder.

"You owe me nothing, just you treating me like a person and not a villain is enough." Loki rests his head on mine and wrapping his arm on my shoulders.

"But really what did you grab from your room?" I ask. I'm very curious, what's so important that he needed to grab.

"I might as well give it to you now." Says Loki he turns his body to face me and puts out his hand. His hand glows green and a little box appears the size of a ring box.

"I'm sorry Loki. I'm not going to marry you." I say with a frown. This made him throw back his head in laughter.

"Don't worry Sasha that's not what this is." He hands the box to me and I open it carefully. There is an emerald green snake ring. "It's a promise ring, darling."

"It's amazing, but what's the promise?"

"The promise is to keep you safe. It's a promise that we will be friends forever, that I'll never leave your side."

"Thank you Loki, that's so sweet of you." I put the ring on my right ring finger, it fits perfectly. I stand up pulling him with me to give him a real hug.

"I was going to give it to you for your birthday but that's in a couple of months. I didn't want to wait that long." Says Loki. He hugs me tight and places a soft kiss on the top of my head. "You should get some sleep though. You must be tired."

"I am pretty tired. And thank you again Loki, it means a lot."

 I try to break from the hug but Loki pulls me back into his arms and whispers beside my ear "I love you, sasha." 

"I love you too, Loki."
