Chapter 19

I'm laying on my back in bed looking up into 'space'. I see the vents and instantly think of Clint and his vent adventures we would go on when I was younger. The vent has 4 star shaped screws in the corners. I get dressed after a shower and go to the elevator.

"Friday, please bring me down to Tony's lab." I say.

"You don't have acsess there anymore." Friday says.

"System overide version three, one, nine." I say. I heard Nat use this once when she was trying to get to Tony when he had a really bad fight with Pepper and Tony locked him self in his lab.

"access denied." I need to get to the lab to grab a screw driver for the vents to get out of this damn building. I run to the common room and grab a lighter from the drawer and go back to the elevator.

I find a ceiling sprinkler and hold the lighter by it. The fire alarm starts to go off and the sprinklers start up. I get in the elevator "The lab please."

The doors close and the elevator starts to go down. The elevators have access everywhere when there is an emergancy like a fire. I'll just have to explain to Tony when he gets the notification that I was cooking and it started smoking.

I grab the screwdriver and go back to my room. The sprinklers turned off after a bit when i get to my room soaked. I change into dry clothes and find the cameras that were fixed and cover them with tape. I use a stool and losen the screws.

Before I get into the vent I quickly message Tony telling him I was cooking and it started smoking causing the fire alarm to go off.

I get into the vent and start traveling trying to find my way to the outside. After 10 minutes of wandering I find my way out. I had to jump down a couple of vent shafts to get to a safer level of the tower before finding the outside.

I travel the city for a while just walking around, exploring. I don't bring my phone or any type of device because Tony is probably tracking them. I grab dinner at a Wendy's I wear glasses and a baseball cap to hide my idendity when I go in the building.

I go to the park to eat and after I find a nearby gas station and buy a slushy. I go in and fill a cup with blue-rasberry. Going to the til to pay I grab a pack of razors.

I head back to the tower and sneak through the vents into my room.

I fiddle with the razors for a while just thinking if I should use them or not. I sit at the side of my bed on the ground slushy by my side.

I unwrap a razor and line it up with my wrist this time. I always cut the top of my arm but now I'm going to try something different. I push the blade into my skin and drag down my arm. I do the same to my other wrist a bit sloppier because I'm left handed and not right handed.

The blood rushes from the gaping wounds more then ever before. The blood instantly covers me and the floor around. I sit there bleeding for a minute before hearing a knock on my door.

The door opens slightly and Loki's head pops in through the crack and sees me on the ground again covered in my own blood.

"Oh my god, Sasha. Not again." Loki says rushing to my side. "THOR!" He yells calling for his brother.

A few moments later Thor rushes into the room and sees me and rushes over. "What happened Brother?" He asks worriedly.

"Suicide attempt. I need you to hold pressure on the wrist to slow the bleeding." Loki says. "What do we do, the hospital is to far away?"

"Get Banner. He can use one of his 'PhD's" to help her." Offers Thor.

"Good idea brother." Loki grabs his phone and calls Tony.

"Loki? Why are you calling?" Asks Tony when he picks up.

"I need Bruce now. Where is he?" Says Loki quickly.

"Why what's wrong?"

"It's Sasha. She tried to end it. For real this time. I need Bruce."

"Oh my lord, we are coming now-" Tony tells Loki where Bruce is and Loki uses all the power he can summon to warp to Bruce's position.

"Loki? What are you doing here?" Asks Bruce when Loki appears in front of him.

"It's Sasha. She really tried to end it this time. We need you back at the tower." Loki wastes no time and grabs Bruce's hand warping them back to the tower.

Bruce rushes to the infirmary to set up the table to help Sasha. While Thor and Loki carefully bring her there.

They lay her on the table. She is basically unconscious but before she goes fully out she says "I'm sorry, Loki."

Bruce stops the bleeding and closes the wounds on her wrists. While Loki watches holding Sasha hand Bruce isn't working on. The rest of the group counting Pepper rush home as fast as they can.

Sasha is given many blood transfers while Bruce works on her wrists. Thankfully they had enough to keep her alive. If Loki and Thor hadn't come home when they did Sasha would have been for sure dead.

Sorry this took a bit to write. I have some troubles writing about suicide attempts on the wrists. I have a really bad phobia of that so I need some time to get the courage to write this.
