I've climbed mountains and went to the beach para lang po talaga makasagap ng signal just to atleast publish this chapter and to communicate with loved ones pero sobrang hirap talaga habulin itong signal! And now, nasa bahay lang pala siya namin! My gosh. One minute, I have it. I get excited. I'd hurriedly open my wattpad app to publish and before I could even load my story, viola! The signal is on the other side of the world again! See how the signal can be paasa too like humans? Nagpapakita sila ng motibo, pero kapag napansin mo na, iiwasan kana. Iiwan kana.

Amazing, right? Buti nalang ngayon medyo tumagal-tagal naman itong signal.

There! I found the perfect parking spot. So much for the under-the-tree spot, now I'm here between two huge van's! Natatabunan 'yung car ko since it's small and pandak because it's a honda civic so hindi siya naiinitan! And the sun is setting on my left side kaya hindi ako maiinitan.

I wore my shades and went down my car, closed it, only to hear my phone ringing kaya agad ko itong tinignan.

Calling... Aleethia

Ba't naman napatawag ang babaeng 'to? Siguro may kailangan na naman.

Oh well...

"What?" Pagsusungit ko sakanya. I heard her laugh through the other line.

"Where's the manners, Court? My gosh! A simple, 'hello, aleethia. napatawag ka? you need something? how are you? are you still breathing?' would do! Grabe ka talaga, Courtney! Bakit nga ba kita naging kaibigan?"

"Siguro nahirapan kang sumagot sa equation na binigay ni Sir Manalo noong grade 9 tayo kaya naisipan mong sumilip sa paper ko at nagka-perfect ka kaya nagalit ako at naisipan kong i-tutor ka sa math para hindi kana mangongopya sakin at dahil 'don, gumraduate ka ng high school. Kung wala ako sa buhay mo, siguro marlboro girl kana ngayon." Sabi ko. Natahimik sandali sa kabilang linya kaya napatawa ako. "Tanga, joke lang. Bakit nga napatawag ka?"

I heard her scoff sa kabilang linya. "Thank you, ha?" She said sarcastically which made me laugh and we both ended up laughing.

"But girl, seriously, what's the tea? I'm in a hurry. Nasa mall kasi ako." I said.

"Nasa mall ka? Ginagawa mo diyan? Kala ko ba may shoot ka kay Manager Ry? Saang mall?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.

"Kakatapos lang. Pupunta ako NBS, they released a few copies of some books of an author I love so I'm heading there first. And, may sale! Kaya I'm taking this chance to shop. SM."
