It was Saturday and Calum invited the boys and I to hang out at his place. When I got there, I was surprised to see Ella sitting beside Calum.

"Oh, hey Ella!" I say, and she smiles at me. "You didn't tell me you were going to be here. We could've came together. "

"Yeah, sorry about that. Calum came to pick me up so..."

My heart.

"Oh," was all I could say. I'm really confused right now. But I just shrug the thought away and sit down next to Michael, who was busy playing video games.

Ella was busy talking with Calum and Luke. Michael's eyes were still glued on the TV screen and I was just sitting there. Then I realized I didn't see Ashton around here.

"Hey, where's Ashton?" I ask Luke.

"He went to the bathroom." Luke tells me.

"Oh, okay. I'm just gonna go to the kitchen to get some food. I'm kind of hungry," I announce and head towards the kitchen, though I'm not really hungry. I just wanted to be alone at the moment.

I passed by a music room, where Calum keeps all his instruments. He doesn't really mind me borrowing his stuff 'cause I've been doing it for a long time already so I pick up his acoustic guitar and head towards the kitchen.

I sit in top of one of the islands and place the guitar on my lap. I need music right now. Music calms my mind and makes me feel relaxed. And right now I feel like screaming at Ella but I know I shouldn't so I just play the guitar to calm my mind.

Three years ago, Calum taught me how to play the guitar. I would never forget those times that his fingers would brush over mine.

I start strumming and singing the lyrics to Realize by Colbie Caillat, one of my most favorite songs ever. And I also could relate the lyrics to my situation right now.

If you just realize what I just realize, then we'd be perfect for each other and we'll never find another

I finish singing the song and when I look back, Calum was there, smiling.

"How long have you been there?" I ask him.

"Since the first verse, I was here."

"Uh-oh. Sorry for the noise."

"Nah, it's fine. You sound good by the way."

"Pff. I've recorded myself singing and even I heard myself I sweat it sounded awful."

"I don't believe you. I think you have a beautiful voice."

"Well, thanks, I guess. Let's just go back to the living room." I say and we head back towards the room where the others are.

Ella went to outside and dragged me with her. She said she wanted to talk to me about something.

"What is it?"

"When are you going to tell Calum the truth?"

"I... I don't know..." I trail off. Honestly, I think I won't be telling him anymore. Since he told me he likes someone else, I guess I have no chance.

"Come on Hailey! How long are you going to keep your secret?"

"Ella, Calum told me that he likes someone else. So why tell him anyway? It's just hopeless." I say and go back inside the house.

"You just don't listen to me anymore! You always go by your own way! What's wrong with you?" she shouts at my back. I turn around and face her.

I open my mouth but not a single word escapes from it. I turn around and go inside.

This Calum thing is killing me. And now, Ella is too.
