"Tell me!" I say for the 100th time, but they still won't. "Please."

Luke looks at me, he was about to say something when Ella stopped him. "Let me tell her."

Ella stood up and so did I. We were standing face to face with each other. I was panting and shaking so she held my shoulders and looked me at the eyes. "Calum got in a car accident. When he got here, he didn't say anything. His face seemed emotionless, says the doctors. He had bruises and cuts in his arms and his left leg had a huge cut in it, but that wasn't the only problem. Calum wasn't talking to anyone. He just stared at the distance all the time. The doctors kept asking him questions but he won't answer." Ella tells me.

Oh my God.

"The doctors say that he might be mentally shocked or something," Ashton adds. "He won't talk to anyone, he won't move, just nothing." He sighs then walk away.

I don't say anything. I just sit there and let the tears fall out. Ella hugs me and pats my back, telling me that everything will be alright. Luke sits at my other side, his head on his hands.

What could have happened to Calum? He doesn't deserve this, not any of this. Why would this happen?

Michael suddenly walks in, with Ashton trailing behind him. "Guys, we can visit Calum now." And with that, our faces lit up in excitement.

We rode the elevator to the 3rd floor of the hospital, where Calum's room is located. Once we were in front of his door, I take a deep breath and Michael opens the door.

And there he was.

Calum had bandages on his feet and some bruises on his face and arms. He looks so worn out it and it hurts to see him look like this. "Oh my God, Calum." I say as I approach his bed. I wrap my arms around him and place my head on his shoulder, while he remains motionless. Luke tried to talk to him but he won't say anything back, not even nod. Ashton and Michael tried to make h laugh by acting like idiots but they failed too.

"Calum," I say as I hold his shoulders and look into his brown eyes, filled with hurt and sorrow. "Calum, it's me. Look at me.

I place my hands on both sides of his face, hoping for him to talk to me. "Calum, please talk to me. It's me, Hailey. I love you."

A single tear started rolling down my cheek, and to my surprise, Calum placed his hand on my cheek and wiped the tear away. But more tears just came pouring down. Calum placed his forhead on mine, cupping my face with his hands. "Hailey."

I smiled when I heard my name said by him, and I notice the boys' faces lit up too.

"I love you too."
