Something happened when Geoff said my name. I stood in one place, but I moved through time as if there was a slideshow playing the years of my life.
It started with when I was saying my first word, the first letter in the greek alphabet. Alpha, the α, meaning the beginning. So time continued, I began to say more letters, soon saying more words. I went into a preschool for advanced kids. This is where I met a boy named Mick. He was a tiny guy, his crewcut hair, his blush, and the suspenders. Mickey was cute as a 4 years old, and was really smart, too smart were most of the others made fun of him. I was to scared to do anything, but I wanted to try something. As I stood in place, I realized I was vibrating. I shiver more and reach out my hand. I was able to appear in that time frame. I could change the picture. I stood in front of Mick and flashed us outside to the playground.
We land on the merry-go-round holding onto the bars. It spins fast, since I was running.
"Iggy? What is happening..." Mick says in a shrill voice.
"Mick, I am changing history," I reply back.
"But...why would you?" He says fading away.
I stop my feet, I fall at the end of the Prairie Meet. I look at the clock: 0 minutes, 0 seconds. I am the Run Away Error Zero...
I get up and walk over to trophy case, but don't touch it. I run towards the beginning of the race and go to the time frame of when the gun sounds.
'Bang' I heard the shoot, hearing it in my mind. I slowly take a lead into 5th place. I jog around the trees and follow the path, passing the girl in 4th place. I soon find the 3rd place girl and catch up to her. Mud splashes in my face as I run though a puddle. I spit on the ground and keep running. I see a opening of the fields as the light of sun.
I see the clouds and the birds flying high. I race past the 3rd place spot and keep running. Faster and faster until I see the finish line and the girl in 2nd, I pass her at the line making her get the 3rd place spot.
I feel a vibration on my feet and clutch my toes and my fists. The vibrating stops and I walk over the rest of my team.
The Parker Springs Squirrels finally get points for a race. Another girl on the team grab the 8th place spot and came up and hugged me.
"Ignis, great job out there!" Carla says squeezing the stuffing out of this teddy bear.
"Thanks, Carla." I try to love away, bearly able to breath from the bear hug. I walk towards the tent and grab a water bottle and banana from the table. I sit down at my bag and place the ribbon I got inside it.
"Parker Springs to the field please. Once again, Parker Springs to the field." My whole team looks worried, as we scurry into the field to meet a man in which I have seen before.
"Which one of you came in second place here?" The man says, his face not able to be seen because of his fedora.
"Here she is sir." Carla says pushing me to the front of the group, as my spikes make a trail in the dirt.
"What is your name miss?" The man mumbles.
"Ignis, sir. My name is Ignis Espereo."
"That is exactly as I expected. You have changed the Alpha Code, the Error Zero is no more."
