CHAPTER 4 BEGINS

🦊MAI'S POV
I wake up to barking and lots of jumping on my bed. I push the dogs off the bed but they start licking my face. "GROSS! I'M AWAKE!" I yell sitting up and glaring at the dogs. They just walk away and I roll my eyes wiping my face.

I walked into the kitchen as I checked the time. The brightness blinded me and I ran into the table. "Owww.....fuck..." I rub my side trying to soothe the pain of being stabbed by the edge of the table. Just as I was feeling better Casanova's bitch ass rams into me and I fall to the ground taking a chair with me.

"WHY THE HELL IS MY MORNING SO BAD" I yell as Vinny tries helping me up by picking me up by the collar.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

'I absolutely HATE the girl's uniform. My thighs are going to rub together all day.'

I put a jacket on and made sure the dogs had food. Just as I was about to walk out I get a call from "Mommy❤️". I look at the dogs and they look at me. They walk away eating their food and I sit down in the dining room chair. I take a deep breath then...

I wipe the tear dripping down my face as I stare at the "Call ended" screen.

In my old life, my parents never showed a lot of affection or even asked how I was doing even though we lived in the same house. I would always say "Love you lots" but I would always get an "Ok" in return.

"I HAVE TO MEET DANIEL!! STOP BEING SAD!!" I yell as I slap my cheeks then stomp out of the place going to the elevator.

I decided to walk to school since I have more of a chance at meeting Daniel. It was surprisingly nice outside and the breeze was nice so the jacket I was wearing didn't make me hot. In the middle of not paying attention and admiring the outside world, I bumped into someone.

'This better be Daniel!' I internally yell.

"SORRY! I wasn't watching where I was going!" I say looking up at the person. "No! It's my fault! I was just standing in the way!" Daniel says turning around to look at me.

'FUCK YEEEEEEESS!! Stay calm Mai!!'

"Oh! You go to the school I'm going to!" I say acting like I don't know he's a transfer. "Oh! I'm a transfer!" he says rubbing his nape as we start to walk. "So am I!" I say looking up at him with a bright smile. He blushes looking away and I laugh a bit at his nervous behavior.

Me and Daniel talked the whole way to school and here we are outside the fashion department waiting for the teacher to tell us to come in. "We're both in fashion! I hope I can get to know you more." I say as I play with my hands.

'WHAT THE FUUUUUUCK WHY ARE YOU PLAYING WITH YOUR HANDS LIKE A NERVOUS LIL BITCH!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!'

'I AM NERVOUS!!'

I ignore the arguing in my head keeping a smile on my face. "I-I would like that," he says giving me a cute ass smile.

'MY HEART 💘'

"Please come in!" we hear the teacher say as I open the door walking in with Daniel following like a puppy. We stopped and Daniel spoke first. "I'm Daniel park. Nice to meet you." he says looking everywhere except at the class. I move up a bit. "I'm Mai Satori. Nice to meet you!" I say what Daniel said just with a bit more pep.

"5'9? 6ft?"

"Geez...He's so cool!"

"Great body."

"She's so pretty!"

"What a great body!"

"I'm right here!"

"Sorry babe..."

I sat next to jay and Daniel sat next to Zack just like in those Wattpad stories I used to read. I gave jay a quiet "hi" and sat down. I look at the front of the class.

"She's beautiful!"

"Her eyes are so pretty."

"I'm jealous! Her side profile looks great!"

I smiled at the comments I was hearing glad that so far no one was planning on murdering me. Then I heard a scene that was all too familiar. "Daniel? Hi, I'm Zoe." I looked over at Zoe talking to Daniel. I could feel the anger rising off some of the girls and I just smirked looking back to the front of the class.

I was passing notes with jay since we couldn't talk cause class was going. Then the lunch bell rang. I looked over at Daniel who of course had Zoe all over him. When I looked back at jay he was gone.

'Well damn!"

I sigh as I get up walking towards the door. I stop in my tracks as a thought runs through my head.

'Me and Daniel are friends!'

I look over at Daniel then I smile. "Daniel!" he looks over at me happy I called his name. I motion for him to follow me then I walk out of the class. I walk down the hall then Daniel runs up next to me and shortly after Zoe is RIGHT there too. "Looks like we're all eating lunch together!" I say happily smiling at both of them.

Nothing happened during lunch except for all the attention being on me and Daniel. But I was talking with Jay and he was surprised I could understand him. In the middle of our chat, I saw Zoe from the corner of my eye about to wake Daniel up. I smirked knowing what was going to happen.

"FUCK!" even though I knew it was coming I still jumped. I giggled quietly as I turned back to jay.
