I woke up due to my feet being cold. I opened my eyes, blinking so they could focus. Mira had her arm around my stomach, her left leg across my legs, and all the blankets were on the floor beside her. "Mira..." I said sitting up and moving her arm. As soon as I said that, a loud ass alarm blared through the speakers outside telling us it was time to wake up.

We went recreation rafting, and I was stuck with the counselor Zeus, but I was with Mira, so it didn't matter. I was talking to Mira when Zeus decided it was a good idea to splash us. The girls laughed playfully, but I tried my best to avoid the water without causing a scene. I looked towards the other boat and notice the harsh treatment the counselor was getting.

He turned his head towards our boat and I smiled and waved. He seemed surprised by my gesture and smiled a bit before turning away. I just sighed, waiting for us to head back to the dock.

Everyone was fucking crying. I would be crying too if I wasn't glaring holes in the camp counselor, Zeus's face. He was standing right behind Mira, just staring at her. "Fucker." I said under my breath, breaking my candle.

' Tonight is the night'

I was in the burn knuckles room, pillow fighting with them. Well...more like fighting for my life. Vasco has a heavy hand and him swinging a pillow around was like swinging a hammer, he already knocked two dudes out.

"VASCO, I KNOW YOU'RE HAVING FUN, BUT MAYBE TRY HITTING A LITTLE SOFTER!!" I ran behind Jace dodging one of Vasco's heavy-handed hits. He obviously wasn't fucking listening because 10 seconds later he knocked me out for a good 10 minutes. When I woke up, he was crying along with a few other Burn Knuckle members.

"I'M SO SORRY MAIIIII! I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!" I was shocked at how hard he was crying. Not only that, but I had never seen Vasco cry so hard! Not even in the Webtoon! "Vasco! Don't cry!" the Burn Knuckles and I were now in complete distress trying to get Vasco to calm down.

I found my way alive and only with a minor headache, leaving the Burn Knuckles room...surprisingly. "Zack, Mira!" I saw Zack and Mira on my way back to my room and ran over to them. They seemed happy before, but now they looked happier. "Mai!" they said in unison, both holding their arms out to hug me.

I stopped in front of them, confused about whom to hug first. They laughed at my confused expression, and Mira hugged me first, then Zack. "You came a bit late, me and Zack, we're actually about to head to our rooms.

I pouted before hugging Zack again and saying goodbye. I then began walking back to our rooms with Mira. "Why are you walking so fast! Slow down, Mai!" I slowed down my pace and Mira grabbed my hand. "Ever since Zack left, you've been on edge, looking around constantly, and walking like you're trying to get away from something." she squeezed my hand.

"Sorry, I just don't want the counselors to catch us, Y'know." I said, smiling at her. She smiled back, nodding, and we began walking at the same pace. I couldn't walk straight for a crock of shit and kept ending in Mira's personal space, but she didn't say anything and would take every chance I was on her to wrap herself around my arm even more.

"Hey!" I froze and so did Mira. "You two know you aren't supposed to be out of your rooms." I knew just by his voice that it was Zeus. "We're sorry, we were heading back." Mira said, bowing in apology.

"Instead of punishment, come and help me move these boxes to the storage." he said with a smirk, setting one of the two boxes in his hands down. Mira easily complied, and now I was walking behind the two as they talked and walked.

'I WAS TRYING TO AVOID THIS!! *%#$* I'M GOING TO FUCKING DIE FIGHTING THIS DUDE'

I mentally screamed and cursed at myself and Zeus for the situation I and Mira were in. When we finally made it to the storage room, it was simple stuff like moving boxes to different shelves and nothing seemed suspicious, but I read the fucking story and I know damn well what's going to happen.

The door slammed open, and it was exactly who I was expecting.

He began yelling, and I stayed quiet as my adrenaline began to pump. "Oh, hey, they were wondering by themselves. Instead of punishment, I asked them to help me." Zeus said sheepishly, trying to make the situation at hand seem totally normal.

I knew Mira's thoughts:
'We got caught after saying bye to Zack...and now we meet this guy...'

The counselor glanced from Zeus to Mira, then to me. He then charged at Zeus, knocking him down to the ground and hitting his face. I was now hella hyped and was prepared to get my ass beat as soon as I saw Mira push the counselor off of Zeus. Zeus began stomping on the counselor, yelling insults at him, and I knew it was my time to intervene.

Zeus noticed me, and before I could make a move, he punched Mira in the gut, knocking her to the floor. I forgot that was going to happen, and it completely threw me off guard. I ran to Mira, getting on the floor with her as she coughed and gasped, trying to catch her breath.

"I was going to only go after you, but your friend gave me such a scary glare, I wanted to send her off with something too!" I looked up, and the sight scared me.

'Shit! I thought I could handle this, but I might have bitten off more than I could chew!"
