"I really hate that."Mira says tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Why don't you just go out with him? He's nice to you~" a female classmate says with a smirk on her face.

🦊MAI'S POV
I stopped listening to Mira's conversation and continued talking to jay. Well, I was doing the talking. "Here have some! Daniel bought it for me!" I say as I hold up a mochi for him to bite. Instead of biting it, he blushes covering his mouth while looking out the window.

'Guess he doesn't want any'

I shrug now staring at Daniel and his uneasy look. The goons were talking about his mom and I was just waiting for the fight to start. Hey, you guys...you've gone too far." I smirk as I look at Zacks's infuriated face.

The desk goes flying and I watch amused by the scene. "Hey. You're fucking funny. You know that?" Zack stands up. "Get up you fucking worm." I laugh at Daniels's calm face knowing damn well on the inside he's shiting bricks.

Girls were fawning over Daniel as they watched the scene outside the classroom. I was now sitting on a desk near the exit next to Mira so after everything is over I can help her take Zack to the nurse. "Hey wuss. I told you to come at me!" Zack says putting his fist up in a fighting position.

"Why's he standing there?"
"Is he scared?"
"Fuck I was scared for no reason before."

"Stop talking shit and watch Zack get his ass handed to him!" I say putting my hand over one of the goon's mouths. "And you! Don't interrupt the fight! Daniel will be fine!" I say grabbing the back of Jay's collar just as he was about to intervene in the fight.

Jay kept making frantic motions and I just pointed towards the fight. Everyone was shocked to see Daniel holding Zacks's fist. Daniel started dodging again then extended his arm back and punched Zack in the solar plexus. Or like Logan would say "Gum Gum pistol!" After saying that I could feel eyes on me.

"Mira help me take Zack to the nurse!" I say cheerfully as I grab one of Zacks's arms helping him off the ground. Zack was talking shit like usual and I'm sure he felt all types of ways about the situation but his character development will come soon. I turn around giving Daniel a thumbs up and a wink as I walk out with Mira following along.

"Does that feel nice?" I ask as I rub the healing bandage (Made that up) on Zacks's stomach. Mira was rubbing another healing bandage on his ribs with an extremely red face. "Stop asking questions!" Zack says with his eyes closed and an obvious blush on his face.

"You're doing it wrong! Let me help." I put my hand on top of Miras as I helped her smooth out the bandage. When I'm done I let go sliding my hand up her arm a bit. "I'll be heading out. Lunch starts soon!" I say walking out with a wave.

LATER THAT NIGHT
I walked into the store little Daniel works at this time only Vinny accompanied me. Daniel was working out and stopped when he saw the doors open. He stood up from his push up position rubbing the back of his neck with a bright blush on his face.

'Never in my life have I seen so many people blush so brightly before'

Me and Daniel talked for like a minute when a pretty girl walked in the store. I recognized her as Crystal Choi and was silently shocked at how much her appearance will change in the next few chapters. "I saw you working out earlier. Here have this." she says setting a drink down in front of Daniel. She then leaves and a thought runs through my head.

'What was her reason for coming in here in the first place? Cause she already had a drink and just walked in set it down and left.....What?'

I played games with Daniel since there were NO customers for like an hour. "I'm going to go use the bathroom." I say standing up and walking towards the bathroom. I hear the store door open but I ignore it walking into the bathroom.

I had gotten distracted on the toilet ordering shit online. "What chapter is it?" I say out loud as I dry my hands taking my phone out of my pocket. "8!!!" I run out of the bathroom to see no sight of Daniel and Vinny sleeping on the floor. I look outside to see Jiho hitting little Daniel.

I run outside yelling and everyone stops what they're doing. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU MESSING WITH LITTLE DANIEL FOR?!!" I yell grabbing Jiho's shirt and tossing him to the side. I then glared at the goons "Enough" I turn to see Vasco.

'YOUR LATE!!'

I walk over to little Daniel and smack him upside the head. "Stop being so nice!!" I then pinch his cheeks and we walk inside the convenience store while Vasco handles the goons. I look over my shoulder to see him looking at me with a tear going down his cheek.

🌞NEXT DAY
"Zoe give Daniel a break before you break his arm." I say sitting down at the usual lunch table. I could feel her angry stare but ignored it. I looked up to see Daniel making hand gestures towards someone and knew it was Jiho.

Whisper after whisper and I started getting annoyed. I stare at Jiho as images of his future flash through my head. He looked harmless but he made stupid mistake after stupid mistake. He NEVER learns no matter WHAT we do for him. He's HOPELESS!! The spoon I had in my hand broke and I slammed my hands on the table standing up.

"Woah! Is that him?!" I turn to see Vin Jin walking into the cafeteria. "He's good-looking! She's pretty hot too!" I felt a hand touch mine and I looked down to see Daniel looking up at me worried. I slide back down in my seat and that's when I notice I made a crack in the table.
