Sun's ability to make light of a bad situation didn't just stop there. In the matter of an hour or so, you had both fantasized an entire kingdom for the 2 of you to rule over together. At some point you drew the moon animatronic with a silly jester outfit, well, sillier. Sun had been on the floor laughing and giggling for a good 10 minutes unable to stop. Because whenever he calmed down, the second he saw the drawing he just went back to snickering and giggling.

Once he finally managed to compose himself, he took the drawing and pinned it up on a big board filled with children's drawings. Yours certainly stood out, but not as much because your ability to draw as it was only decent really. It was more because sun had put it in the middle of all the others after stapling a note above it that said ''bestie's art''.
Thank the heavens your drawing skills were pretty much what anyone would expect for someone who just doodled from time to time out of boredom. When you were younger, you'd dreamt of becoming a famous artist or animator, but nowadays all you really wanted was to be able to pay rent and feed yourself.

Sun clapped his hands as he skipped back over to you gleefully. His happy attitude really didn't seem to be able to be brought down, other than when he had to take care of someone.
Like he did with you.
You sighed and got up, stretching to get some feeling back in your legs. You were pretty sure if you'd been sitting for any longer, they'd become immovable. It at least felt that way. You got lightheaded for a bit because you stood up too fast, but regained balance after some seconds. Looking at your smartwatch, you discovered that a good 2 and a half hours had gone by. Time really did flow fast when you were having fun.
You also discovered that you had ignored a task that your boss had given to you.

''Oh, crud''
You mumbled to yourself as you read over the details. It said to get to know your new co-workers.

''Y/N!! No bad language!''
Sun yelled and looked at you while he stood like some sort of very disappointed parent who just witness their child do a bad thing. You had already met and even hung out with this goof, but the task wasn't crossed off fully like the manager said it would be once it had sensed you had done the thing you were supposed to. He tried to explain how it worked, but it mostly involved complex words and all of it just flew over your head if you were being honest. Of course, it did probably already know you'd been with Sun since it had him crossed off but there was another one.
One labelled Moon.

''Sorry Sunny. It's just that I realized I was neglecting instruction because I was having too much fun with y-''
He cut you off with a gasp, for real this time instead of just saying the word and grabbed his head.
''Did I distract you from work??? Oh no, I'm so sorry!!''
He apologized and got down on his knees. ''Pleaaaseee, forgive me!''

You looked at him. Even on his knees he was still a bit taller than you.
Were you really that small?
No, surely not.

''Sun it's fine, it's nothing too bad. I just have to introduce myself the other day-care attendant.''
You smiled and went to pat the top of his head. He looked thoughtful and grabbed your hand before standing up. He took you over to the guard-station near the exit of the playground, looking down at you whilst not letting go of your hand.

''Sun, what are-''
You tried asking but was cut off.
''I'm only letting you do this once because it's your job,'' he went silent.
''do what?'' You asked perplexed.
''Letting you turn of the lights. You have to if you want to meet him...''
He said and looked away almost guiltily. Did he tell you to keep the lights on just to avoid the other attendant? Wow, these 2 really must be mad at each other.

That's what you wanted to believe, so badly, not the gut feeling that told you something else was seriously wrong for Sunrise to want to be avoiding Moon so badly.
