Chapter 8: Don't do anything.

The twins were in Jin's room watching a movie. Harley was in Jin's arms, her back pressed against his chest, while his back was against the bed frame. They were watching Withering Heights. Harley loved the book, it was her favorite. Such a tragic love story filled with mental and physical cruelty. She wondered how would feel loving someone so out of reach, someone so different. To love someone that you are willing to do anything to have them by your side. Heathcliff was such a terrible human being, but such a great character.

She wanted that kind of love. The love that would consume your thoughts, the love that would make you walk to the edge of sanity.

She was brought back from her thoughts, when the door swing open and Jimin entered the room helped by some guy she didn't know. Jimin winced in pain as the guy helped him sit on the bed.

"What happened to him?" Jin asked before she had the chance to open her mouth. She shifted her position and now was leaning on the wall while Jin was in a sitting position, both of them looking at the pair.

"What is it to you?" The guy asked with a raised tone. "What, you also want to take a shot at him?" He was angry, his hands were formed into fists and he was slightly shaking.

"Please don't." Jimin whimpered.

"What's your problem?" Jin asked. "I'm actually worried about him. He wasn't like this when I last saw him."

The new guy ran his hand though his hair and sighed. "The fates had gotten to him. They almost broke his ribs." He took a deep breath and sat on the bed next to Jimin.

"They hit him?" Harley was on her feet, her eyes cold and dark.

"Yes." The guy replied.

"Taehyung." Jimin raised his voice, causing him to hiss in pain. "Stop it."

"If he is your roommate he should know." Taehyung pointed towards Jin. "He was just beaten up. What are you going to do about it?"

"It's not his fight." Jimin almost as a whisper.

"If you're so adamant on protecting him, why didn't you do anything?" Jin replied back.

"Because the fates as rich beyond imagination. We are no match for them." Taehyung answered.

"And you think we are?" Jin raised his eyebrow.

"You have the status and the attitude. You can get away with it. I can't. I'm here with scholarship. If I do anything to them I'm out." Taehyung covered his face with his hands. "They already threatened me. If i do something, they will expel me."

"Enough." Harley yelled. "What room are they in?" She demanded to know.

Taehyung told her what rooms each of them are. "Jungkook is with Yoongi and Namjoon with Hoseok." He further explained.

"Do these guys attack you as well?" Jin didn't want to get involved in another drama, but he knew damn well Harley will not let it go, not that he can blame her. No one deserved to be treated that way.

"No. It's always Namjoon and Yoongi." Taehyung replied instead of Jimin.

"Don't do anything, please. They will do it worse." A tear slipped from Jimin's eyes. "I'm so scared and tired of everything."

A lump formed in Harley's throat. It was like seeing Jihee once again. So fragile, so broken, so beautiful. She dropped on her knees and cupped Jimin's face, wiping his tears. "I swear to you no one will ever touch you again. No one." She kissed his forehead and walked towards the door.

Jin grabbed her arm. "You can't storm inside their rooms and start punching them. First, because you are a girl and they are guys. Secondly, if you attack first they will have all the reasons in the world to come after you. Do you really wanna be expelled again?"

"We have to do something." Harley shook her head. "I don't want another Jihee. Please Jin, I can't."

Jin hugged his sister and patted her back. "We won't. But we need to be smart about it. We can't answer to violence with violence."

"What are we going to do?" Harley asked with glistening eyes. She wanted to burn everything in her path. She hated when someone so innocent suffered at the hands of some wanna be powerful smug idiot.

"What is it that they love the most in this world?" Jin asked looking at Taehyung. He released his sister from his hug, but held her hand. He was afraid that given the chance she would try to look for them.

"For Namjoon, I think it's his relationship and status. For Yoongi, I don't really know. He isn't the type of guy who would make his desires known." Taehyung linked his hands together and looked at Jin. "Are you really going to protect him?"

"You too." Harley hastily said. "You seem important to Jimin, so our protection is gonna include you too."

"I'll go after Namjoon's girlfriend. You, go after Yoongi." Jin explained his plan to his sister. "Don't make a scandal out of it."

"I won't." She tilted her head. "Probably. Most likely."

"Harley..." Jin threatened. "Follow the plan. Let's dethrone them."

"Fine." Harley stomped her foot on the ground. "I'll play nice." Of course she wouldn't play nice, but she will stay put for now.

"Good." Jin turned his attention to Jimin. "Give me your phone."

"Why?" He asked unsure of why his roommate suddenly asked for his phone.

"I want to give you my phone number to call me whenever you have a problem." Jin explained.

"I'll give it to you." Taehyung took out his phone and gave Jin both his and Jimin's phone number.

"I want it too." Harley jumped in the conversation.

"I actually thought students here were a little bit more matured." Jin said with a sigh as he sat back on his bed. "I guess I was wrong."

"Some of them hadn't pass the high school stage." Taehyung said in a low voice not to wake Jimin, since he had fallen asleep. He took a blanket and covered his best friend.

"Is he going to be alright?" Harley asked pointing at the sleeping boy.

"I don't know to be honest." Taehyung shook his head. "Physically he's gonna be alright, mentally, I don't know. I still don't understand why they are targeting him. Jiminie never did anything to anyone."

"He doesn't have to do anything. Being bullied it's not the victim's fault. It's the bullies that need to take accountability for what they are doing, and we will make sure this will happen." Harley kissed his cheek and then Jin's. "It's late. I need to go. Talk to you later."

"Your sister seems nice." Taehyung said as soon as the girl stepped outside the room.

"She is." He furrowed his eyebrows. "However, she isn't usually this nice with people she doesn't know. I think this might be good for her."

"Jimin has this effect on people. She's falling for his charms." Taehyung replied with a chuckle.

"In complete honesty, I like him too. He seems nice."

"The nicest you'll ever meet here." Taehyung stated as a matter of fact.
