For the last couple of days, the twins patched things up between themselves and went back at ignoring everyone, except a few things where they balanced the playing field. Things like catching the guys that attacked Jimin in the bathroom, getting them naked and tying them together in the gym for everyone to see them. It was the ultimate revenge. Humiliation for humiliation.

If someone would ask Harley why she was so overprotective of Jimin, she didn't have a clear answer. She clearly liked the boy. He had a sweet personality, he was nice, good looking, and above all, he was sensitive. Maybe she saw bits of herself in him. Maybe it reminded her what it felt when her former colleagues bullied her to the point she didn't want to live anymore. The pain in Jimin's eyes, wasn't foreign to her. She felt that. She lived it.

Now, she was different person. She changed her name, she changed her attitude. She won't ever allow someone to go through what she went through. That abuse, any form of it, mental or physical, it was still abuse, and it felt as if both your mind and heart was split in two. You feel worthless, a waste of space, always thinking how good the world would be without you in it. How peaceful it would be if you suddenly slept and never wake up. Thankfully, she had her brother. He helped her survive the worst of the worst.

The reason why they were hiding was that their private tutors had sent them some new assignments they had to finish quick. Thanks to Yoongi for showing Harley his special place, the twins went in hiding there as they did their homework and explored the old abandoned building. They were sitting on a mattress in the same classroom as the day Yoongi brought her there.

"Ugh. I fucking hate this thing." Harley grabbed her hair, ready to rip it out. "Why are they sending it all together?"

"It sucks." Jin sighed and leaned his back on the wall. "What's the last one?"

"Economics." Harley cried out. "That's why I don't understand the need for us to come here to study, if we are already doing this separately."

Jin shrugged. "They want to make sure we are fully prepared to take over."

"Fuck my life." Harley rose to her feet. "Let's take a break. We've been studying for the last three days. I'm starting to see sounds and hear letters."

"What do you want to do?" Jin could do a break. They haven't washed in days, ate only snacks and they were tired as hell. The pressure they felt was sometimes unbearable.

"Let's take a look around here."

"You want to take a walk through an abandoned building? Are you crazy?" Jin almost yelled.

Harley rolled her eyes. "I'm your sister, of course I'm crazy. Let's go."

Jin didn't want her to go alone so he gave in. It was better anyway then staying in the same place. Thankfully, the building was still illuminated, so they weren't completely in the dark. Jin regretted not pushing harder for them to study in the library. Harley refused, she hated studying with people around her. She wanted to be comfortable, not surrounded by people she didn't like or care about.

They got out of the classroom down the hallway. It looked creepy. The coat of painting on the wall was chapped, cobwebs were harboring the corners of the ceilings. Here and there were files scattered on the floor. The ceiling on the hallway had dark spots, probably caused by a leakage of some sort.

As they walked, with each step their breath became heavier. A shiver ran through their spine, making their hairs on their backs stand. They felt as they were being watched.

"This is creepy." Harley whispered hugging herself. She may or may not have seen a skeleton of a small animal. Maybe coming for a walk in an abandoned building wasn't one of her smartest ideas.

"It was your idea." Jin whispered back.

"Let's see if we can find the former teacher's office. We might find some interesting stuff there."

Jin shook his head. "This building is huge. How are we gonna find it?"

"Shhh... Let's not make any noise." Harley threatened. "What if someone finds us?" Was very unlikely, but one can never know what is hidden behind cobwebs and dust.

They searched classroom upon classroom, until they actually managed to find the former principal's office. It looked horrible. Worse than the other rooms. It only took them two hours of intensive search. The desk was missing one of its legs and it was bent on the side. Mold was growing on the walls, as if it was some sort of intricate plant.

In the corner of the room was a dried brown plant that smelled like rotten vegetables. The book case behind the desk, had no shelves, some books were scattered at the bottom.

"Looks like a war zone." Jin cried out, he didn't move away from Harley's back.

Some scratching noises were coming from inside the desk. Harley walked around the desk, when she spotted the closed drawer. She opened it and gasped in horror. In the drawer, on top of some files, a rat was looking straight into her eyes. She took a small step back scaring the rat in the process. The animal bolted out.

The twins screamed their lungs out and hugged each other. "Take me from here." Harley cried out.

Jin grabbed her arm and went straight to the classroom they were studying in, took their belongings and ran away as fast as they could. They could swore they heard voices behind their backs. Once they were safe outside, they took deep breaths and fell on the ground.

"I'm never going back there." Jin stated.

"Same." Harley clutched her chest. "Fuck I'm still scared."

Jin burst out laughing. "It was just a rat." He screeched.

"Fuck you." Harley hit his arm. "You yelled like a little girl."

"We need to shower." Jin smelled his armpit and scrunched his nose. "God I stink."

"We take the rest of the day off. But tomorrow we have to finish the last assignment." Harley pointed out.

"Jeez, we will. You sound just like mom." He laid on the ground, closing his eyes. "I missed fresh air."

Harley laid down next to him. "Why do you think they keep that building in that stage? I mean, on the outside it looks perfect, on the inside, Jesus Christ, you can bake a cake with that mold."

"Maybe they don't have money to maintain it." Jin shrugged. He didn't care. He was glad to be out.

"Seriously?" Harley turned her head to look at her brother. "This is the rich kids playground, they have more money they can spend. Something is up with that building."

Jin sighed and got himself in a sitting position. "Let me guess, you want to find out."

Harley grinned. "You in?"

Jin closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't think I have a choice." He didn't really. He couldn't let his sister go alone.

"Great." She got up, took her backpack and ran towards her room. She didn't want anyone to see her.
