Yoongi was in front of the Bangtan University, a bunch of red roses in his hand. It was his usual routine of the day. In the morning he would go to work and when he was done, he would pick up Jimin from the university. Many things had happened on those six years.
Jimin's father passed away from a sudden heart attack, the doctors didn't find a valid explanation why it happened so suddenly, but one thing was for sure, there was no foul play involved. After he passed away, Jimin was the one who inherited the said university, making him the new principal. His mother was the one who took charge of it until Jimin graduated.
He walked through the silent hallways until he reached his lover's office. "Hey baby." He greeted the younger one, planting a kiss on his cheeks and handed him the flowers.
"Thank you honey." Jimin beamed as he put the flowers in a vase. "How was your day?"
Yoongi sighed. After his father's imprisonment the board of directors of his family company, kept things going until he was of age to take over. "Hard. Those bunch of losers really love to may my day a living hell."
Not to mention his father and Namjoon's father that both died in the prison, attacked by other inmates. It could have been someone who paid to have their lives terminated, or maybe Irene did it herself, but neither of them bothered to check for the truth. If they would have been good fathers; Namjoon and Yoongi would have felt some rupture in their soul, since that wasn't the case, they couldn't even shed a tear.
Jimin laughed, his melodic voice filling the room. "Yeah. You always say that." His boyfriend always complained about his staff, but he didn't have the heart to fire them just because they were annoying.
"Have I told you lately, how wonderful you are?" Yoongi wrapped his arms around his waist. "You did wonders with this place."
Jimin really did wonders within the university walls. Jihoon's body was retrieved and put to rest. The abusive teachers were fired, and the students were living in peace. Of course that not all of them were quiet, but there was a policy against bullying, that it would mean severe punishment for the one who breaks it. Last thing he wanted was for someone else to go through what he did. He lowered his eyes and looked at the ring that adorned on his finger. It was all worth it in the end. The nightmare was over.
Their other friends, Jungkook was now a gym teacher, Hoseok worked with Namjoon, and as for Tae, Taehyung was working close with Irene. Everyone was doing great. Hoseok and Jackson had their wedding a few months ago, after a separation of three years. And Jungkook and Taehyung, were on their honeymoon.
"Let's go pick up our wife." Yoongi smiled, liking his hand with Jimin's.
"Did you buy that apple pie she wanted?" Jimin inquired. Ever since Irene got pregnant with his child, she was craving all sorts of foods.
Irene changed her name back to her birth one. She found her peace and she didn't need to hide herself behind a name.
"I did." Yoongi replied. He couldn't wait for their first baby to be born, so he can have his own too.
They conveyed that the first child that wound be born in their family was going to Jimin's. After a year, Yoongi's child would also be conceived. That would give both men the opportunity to have their own child.
Irene was in a fit of rage by the time her men arrived. She almost chewed her secretaries throat because she messed up some papers, and now Irene had to redo everything form the beginning. She couldn't wait to leave the office, have the baby and take some time off.
When she spotter her men entering her office, her heart started beating faster in her chest. She immediately calmed herself when they embraced her.
Jimin's hands were on her 5 months baby belly. "I can't wait to meet our prince."
"Oh god, me too." Irene chuckled. "Let's go before I commit a murder." Not that she will ever be caught.
Yoongi laughed as he looked at the loves of his life. They might not be married by law, but in their eyes, they were. He didn't care that everyone looked at them as if they were some weirdos, he only cared what it laid inside their own hearts. The beauty they shared. The little moments that made up their lives, like when they heard the little one's heart beating. The moment they gave themselves to one another.
Yes. Everything was worth it. Yoongi was happy. He was happy to finally have the family he always wished. Their home, a little piece of heaven.
"Joon, please clean up YuJun's room." Jin instructed his husband as he picked up the remaining toys from the living room.
"Already did." Namjoon hugged his husband from behind. "Chill baby, it's just Irene and the guys."
Jin sighed. "I know."
"Let me take this while you go and pour yourself a glass of wine." Namjoon nudged his husband. He took the toys from his hand and placed them in their daughter's playroom.
"Thank you Joon." Jin said happily as he did what his husband suggested.
Yes. Namjoon and Jin got married a year after graduations and successfully adopted an eight year old. Irene offered herself to be a surrogate for her brother, but Jin wanted to adopt.
There were too many children without a home, so he wanted to adopt one and give the life a child should have. They were also in the process of adopting a little four year old boy. It broke his heart not being able to take all of them home, but Namjoon decided to invest in the orphanage, thus making sure the children would live a decent life, even if they weren't adopted.
Namjoon was the same attentive husband as he was when they got married. He was always there for Jin, for anything. Even if the older didn't ask, or say. He saw Jin how upset he was with the orphanage condition, so he took the matters into his own hands and invested in it. He inherited his father's company, but he merged it with Jin's so they can make something better together. Something healthier. No lies, no bribes.
"How are you feeling love?" Namjoon asked as he massaged his husband's shoulders.
"Better." Jin hummed as he sipped from his glass. "How was mother?"
"Good. She was happy to have the little one for a few days." Namjoon replied. They sent the little one with Jin's parents so they can have a few days for themselves. They were always happy and eager to help them.
When Jin confessed to his mother that he will marry Namjoon, the younger felt as if his soul had left his body. He was scared he will be pushed away, deemed unworthy. It wasn't the case though, Jin's family embraced both him and the other males.
"As long as my babies are happy, who am I to stand in their way?" Jin's mother joked.
It didn't take long for the trouple to appear. Irene pushed through Namjoon and rushed to the bathroom. "God dammit. It's the fifth time I'm peeing."
The guys laughed at her tantrums. "That's my nephew you talking about." Jin yelled after her.
Neither Yoongi, nor Namjoon thought they will get to that point. They looked around and saw the faces of their loved ones, the family they dreamed of.
Namjoon poured wine in everyone's glasses, except for Irene. She was served apple juice.
They all raised their glasses. "For our family, for our loves, for our lives." They all said at the same time, bringing a happy ending to a beautiful drama.
The end.
