Peter wandered over to the cockpit, plugged in his zune and sighed. He didn't lose eye contact with the glass shield infront of him, staring into space, literally. His expressionless glare said a lot if you looked hard enough. He was in a delicate state of mind, since the events. The events that broke his heart, stole the love of his life, his stability and strength.Although it hurt Quill, he denied being distraught. Only showing emotion when he was behind a closed door, where he would tend to break down most nights. Without his mum, father and now girlfriend his life was beginning to slip away very very quickly. Gamora was alive, but the questions didn't end in his mind. Why did she forget me? How could i let this happen? Will she ever remember me? She somehow seemed to slip into every situation, every thought led to her, every memory she was stood at the end of it. Peter was pained by the circumstances, he felt like the little 8 year old boy who had been besotted by the death of his mother. All over again.

'Quill' Rocket strolled into the cabin, distracting Peter momentarily 'I need to get to Knowhere asap, it's... business related'

'No can do Rodent' Quill retorted 'I've had intel of a possible location of Gamora, we're prioritising that over some dumb 'business request'

Mantis and Drax followed eachother in, Drax clipping himself into his seat and Mantis settling herself at a table just behind the controls. They both watched the situation unfold, rolling there eyes at one another in the process.

'Quill we've had about 30 of these 'intel's' of yours, when are you gonna wake up and realise they're not real?' Rocket snapped, flicking the light controls off.

'You don't know that. What's to say this one isn't real?' Quills face dropped, he didn't make any eye contact with any of the crew, due to the fact that he knew they were right.

'I'll give you a reason Quill, there's 50 million billion trillion planets in this galaxy, what's to say Gamora is any where even near us, let alone people telling us she's there? You're a delusional earthman' Rocket commanded, but squirmed at his outrage, he slyly looked up at Peter looking for a reaction. But peter had none, he sighed and slowly turned to the racoon but before he could say his part drax interrupted

He was muttering the number over again '50 billion trillion million, that doesn't sound real. To many negatives'

'That's what you got from the situation?' Peter swivelled from his chair, 'Also, what do you think a negative is?' His voice leaped up a pitch.

'Woah girlfriend, calm yourself' Rocket smirked lingering behind the captain.

Rocket very much enjoyed making any conversation, an attack on Quill. Many would say he was an ass, but Peter knew deep down it was the small animals insecurity peeping out.

'Fine Rocket, we'll go to knowhere. Do some good deeds, get some brownie points idk, but do not get into any shady deals. Knowhere isn't exactly a lucky place for us' Peter glared at the rodent making sure he understood.

Rocket didn't keep the eye contact and slumped against his seat.'Brownie points? What could one do with brownie points?' Drax questioned, peering at quill

'It's an expression you big grey douche bag' Peter snarked

'Ye you douche bag!' Mantis giggled from behind the table.

'In my culture, we only use literal language i see no meaning-'

'yes yes you see no meaning to illiterate as it-.' Rocket interrupted.

Drax grunted, 'you small trash... trash...' 'Quill what what's the word you use?'

'.... panda?'

'YES! You small trash panda!' Drax laughed in hysterics'

'If groot wasn't snoring away right now, i wouldn't even like you to know how far your foot would be shoved down your throat.' Rocket snarled
