The unconscious Gamora was spread out on a flat bench that sat next to the middle of the ship, Quill sat opposite her staring into the distance with his hand resting over his eyes. The buzz of the ship was silent, everybody was waiting. Waiting for her to move, to say something. They were unsure of her reaction, i mean they had saved her but at the same time largely against her will.

Rocket had taken Groot into his room where Mantis had put him to sleep, it was too confusing for the toddler to see a figure he thought he knew, especially a figure that he thought motherly of.

'We'll explain to him later. I can keep him occupied in here, just until you explain the situation to Gamora.' Rocket shouted whilst slamming the door to hide the green body.

8:35pm

Mantis skitted into where Gamora slept, she was met by peter and Drax who were busy playing cards.

'Dude, how many times theres no guns in a simple game of SNAP!'

'If there is no fear then what is the point of the game.'

'It's snap bro, it's supposed to be fun.'

'I'll snap your neck and that'll be fun.' Rocket had wandered into the room.

Peter gave up with the cards and smacked them back into the shelf that they belonged to. He tugged at his walkman, he rarely used this now but it still had some og tunes that took his mind of things.

Rocket sat down inbetween Drax and Mantis and began fiddling with an old piece of wire.

'The tree asleep?' Drax muttered.

'Very.'

Quill stayed playing his walkman louder and louder still trying to drown out his thoughts, it wasn't working. It always worked but not today, things were just too much.

'AURGH.' Quill cried. 'Mantis cant you just like wake her up or something?'

'Yes.' The small bug replied.

'You can do that?' Quill drew closer to her 'YOU CAN DO THAT? We've been sat here for 5 hours and you can just WAKE HER UP?'

'Yes i can.' Mantis frowned. 'I thought that was obvious.'

Rocket chuckled in the background he wanted to insult Quill in some way or another but couldn't think quick enough.

'Do it then.' Drax gestured

'Oh because the suspense, it's just killing me!' Rocket humbled them sarcastically.

Mantis moved closer to Gamoras head, her thin antenies waved around and glowed a vicious blue. Her cold hands meandered down towards the green skin.

The whole crew held their breathe even Rocket, it felt like an hour before mantis placed her hands on the warriors skull. Delicately Mantis felt her head for the right pressure point before opening her palms and spreading them along her face.

Mantis drew a deep breathe 'Wake!' The small insect bellowed.

It took approximately three quarters of a second before Gamora was on her feet with a knife strewn at the clan.

Her head was spinning backwards and her eyes felt as though they were being wrenched out of her skull but she stayed in her gallient position.

'Look we're not here to hurt you.' Quill responded drawing his hands out.

Gamora charged for his chest, she ran at him with such a pace that Quill squealed as she came closer. She held his throat in a tight lock and placed a sword against his chest, once again.

'Where are you taking me?' Gamoras grip tightened. 'Let me out of here before i kill him.'

She gestured to the rest of the group, pinning Peter against the wall.

'Nah nah i'm gonna let this carry on for a bit longer.' Rocket folded his arms.

Drax shoved his palm into the rodents face and drove towards Gamora, he grabbed her back twisting her into the floor.

'Lay off him Green girl or you'll have something to be sorry about.' Drax grafted off of her shoulder and pushed her up.

Gamora brushed her clothes, huffing as she did. Quill who was catching his breathe and getting deja vu from about 6 hours ago, stumbled to the other side of the cabin.

'Land me at the nearest planet and i'll be out of your way.' Gamora demanded.

Nobody replied, they all stuttered over words but nothing came out. Rocket opened his mouth to speak but gave up and wandered into the cockpit followed by Mantis. Drax faced some controls and pretended to fiddle with them so he didn't have to deal with the situation.

Gamora was now stood in a corner rubbing her arm, staring into the ground. To be truthful she felt relieved that she was in a warm ship instead of spending another night paranoid in the street. There was a never felt before guilt brewing inside of her, this Quill person was trying and she could see that. But for some reason she couldn't bring herself to trust him. It was strange knowing that she should be in love with someone, that somebody flew half way across the galaxy to find her and now she'd just turned him away, and had almost killed him.

The green girl sat down on the bench next to her drawing her knees up to her chest and hiding in them, she didn't want to deal with all these strangers at once. It wasn't until she heard shuffling next to her that she looked up.

'Do you want some?' Quill pushed a silver tub towards her.

'No.' She looked down. 'Where's my sister?'

'In your room i think, well the old yous room i don't know. You can sleep in it for now though.' Quill pointed to the ladder that lead to their bedrooms. 'It's down the stairs and the last one to your right, it's got the best view that's why you chose it.'

Gamora gave a half smile but quickly covered it with a nod, she adjusted her hair and travelled down to the room. The whole corridor was booming with personality, on both sides it was a box shape room with a couch to the left. Quills door was pampered with action stickers and posters of music artists from earth, Led Zeplin took centre stage.

Mantis had a smooth white door that she had painted herself, there was a row of nova flowers stuck to the bottom of it but slowly they were starting to die. Nobody had wanted to break it to the bug that these flowers can't survive forever, so they just lay waiting to perish. Rockets room wasn't decorated on purpose but it had many gunshot wounds in the doorframe allowing Gamora to see inside. It was a very busy room with gadgets and weapons following one another. She decided to leave it be and look at the room on the end, hers.

The room looked washed up from the outside the door was completely empty and not a speck of dust sat on it. She ran her fingertips up to the door nob, the corridor was dark like the rest of the ship so she couldn't make out the lock. She fumbled with it for a few minutes before the door popped open with someone from the other side.

'Nebula, sister.'

Nebula ushered her in and nodded.

Gamoras room looked plain from the outside but inside it was used and lived in. Her bed remained made and comfortable with a chest of swords next to it, her clothes mainly leather hung in a slightly open warbdrobe. Gamora flicked through them complimenting her alternate selfs taste. Her hand stopped as she got to a jacket that was way to big for her, a mens size with copper orange streaks down the middle and rouged shoulders.

'Who's is this?' She tugged it out the cupboard.

Nebula slapped her forehead. How could she be so unobvious.

'I'm not even gonna answer you.' Nebula was sat sharpening a blade.

'It's his isn't it.' Gamora pointed. 'That guy Peter.'

Nebula nodded, for once she felt bad for Quill. Gamora still knew who she was, but for quill it was a different story. She knew what it felt like to lose something you loved, cared for , adored.

'He's not just 'that guy' Gamora.' Nebula retailed. 'At one point in time he was your guy.'

Gamora pulled a disgusted face, and shoved the jacket back into the wardrobe, Nebula chucked a pillow at her face but the green girl caught it before it hit and threw it back at her sister.

'I think you're forgetting who i was raised by.' Gamora chuckled.

The two sisters stayed in the room for a bit, talking and gossiping. It was nice to see, since their history has bound them so far apart. They were finally together again. In a weird way it was like a new beginning, Gamora only new her sister nobody else. And i guess that was a good starting block.

'Have you met the tree yet?'

'They have a tree as well?'

'He's a little humanoid, no older than two i don't think. Very cute, baby of the ship.' Nebula explained.

'So whats he doing with these creeps.'

'Oh it's always been Rocket and Groot, you see Groot was old before he died saving all of you. He just keeps dying then being replanted, hes basically invincible.' Nebula threw a clump of metal shavings into the bin.

'He saved us?'

'Yeah, by Ronen. It was sick, you turned completely against all of the kree army. Kicked their asses and then killed him with an infinity stone.'

'Nice.' Gamora had something on the tip of her tongue that she wanted to say, she had wanted to know for a while now and thought it was perfect time to ask. 'What was i like? Before you know Thanos threw me off a cliff for a shimmery rock.'

'You? well...'
