A kite,
you - my lover,
and I - your failure.i recall
our transgressions,
and audacity,
you coloured my sky whimsical.an odor of sinfulness
we breathe in with purposes.but i recalled faith
and deceived.
i failed you,
my kite,
and severed our strings.a kite it was white,
his articulation,
a sin - regret is our evergreen,
you and i must forget not
and regret my averted gaze
shunning yours away.now.
no more he smiles,
appears,
he now is no lover
but a notorious anon,
i - a failure fear to approach.now stands a failure,
beneath a sky but drear,
for you no longer colour my sky.why, perhaps...
no you must wonder why?!you knew not,
i was no different,
i too practiced societal religion,
so kite, my love,
i failed you, willingly severed ties with you.
~●~
so. i saw the sky colorful today.
but it didn't appease.
for you were not there
