Ramadan Kareem Mabrook❤️, but Ramadan now..isn't what Ramadan is supposed to be.
The month which we are blessed with an extra opportunity to get closer to Allah, to seek His forgiveness, to be blessed with His blessings, but we try getting closer to our families - friends. The month of patience-control, is becoming a month of feasting. The month of visiting masjid-getting closer to masjid, has become a month of visiting cafes-restaurants..reserving places in expensive hotels but not freely joining the congregation, Taraweeh. The month of getting closer Qur'an-tasbih, has become a month getting closer to our gadgets-smartphones.
Now the case is different as we are all isolated in homes. Nevertheless it has given us a much better chance to get closer to Allah!
Do we think Allah will be pleased with our fasts..? Which, where our time was wasted on games, social applications, watching dramas-movies, lazing around....doing everything but touching Qur'an, but Dhikr illahi, but nowhere near the praying mat. He is Al Hameed, the One who deserves to be praised in all of His deeds, sayings, laws, prohibitions. Out there, every creation praises the One Who is Praise Worth, the Allah. And while us lazing around...even the disadvantage is ours, we are depriving ourselves away from his blessings. When we do not ask Him, how can we be expectant.
So let's give our best, and may Allah s.w.t accept our fasting, prayers and may he forgive us, ameen. In this blessed month, let's take advantage of this opportunity to get closer to Allah. Let's all ask for His forgiveness, His mercy, His blessings. And apologizes, if I have ever hurt anyone intentionally or unintentionally ❤️.
