Chapter 15

Lucy's POV

I've been flipping through the book "Akirame, the powerful spell and it's power" for 3 hours and I haven't found anything to help and decode the spell. I look over at Natsu who was slacking off, or more or less, sleeping. I sighed then slapped him across the face.

"Natsu! Wake up!" I yell at him once I slap him. He immediately wakes up and falls off his chair.

"Wha! Wh-what did you do that for?" He asks. I sigh again.

"You fell asleep, and I haven't found anything that would help us decode the spell." I reply. Natsu gives me a confused look but then nods.

"Oh, okay." He answered. I looked back down at the book and started reading where I left off.

"Akirame is considered dangerous. Please be careful when casting the spell, for it would possibly cost your life." I finished the book and still found nothing that would help. I closed the book and walked back over to the bookshelf. I tried finding some other books that might help. I finally found a book called "Ancient spells meanings." I took the book out and brought it back to the table.

"Hey Natsu! I think this might help." I placed the book inbetween us and Natsu looked at the books cover.

"Ancient spells meanings? Is that gonna help?" He asks. I nod.

"Of course it will! I can help us decode the spell!" I scolded Natsu. Natsu just nodded and told me to read the book.

"Ancient spells meanings. Of all ancient spells here on earth, this book contains their meanings. This book contains the following ancient spells, Death Wave, Godesses Whip, Shirume, and Akirame." My eyes widen and then a smile is put on my face.

"Natsu, this book has the meaning. Shall I read?" I ask politely. He nods and continue. I skip all the other spells and go strait to the page labeled, Akirame.

"The meaning of Akirame is, Ano himo ariwa. The english meaning is... Death on one, life on the other, I call apon thee, Akirame!" That's it! We got the meaning! But wait, death and life? Is this how dangerous Akirame is? I look at Natsu who has a serious look on his face.

"Wait, you just said the spell from the book so, how come nothing happened?" He asked. An imaginary lightbulb then apeared over my head.

"Your right. I wonder how you cast the spell. Maybe I should try." I said. Natsu looks at me with a little worry in his eyes.

"A-are you sure, Luce? What if something happens to you?" He asked, with much more worry. I smiled at him.

"Don't worry! I'll be fine!" I kept on smiling at him, assuring that I'll be fine. But, I can't really promise anything that I'll be fine or not. I started turning pages to see if this book said how to cast Akirame. I found the page that showed how to cast Akirame.

"Raise both hand up once the spell is said, once said, a black magic circle should appear under you." I read. Natsu didn't have much of a happy face, instead, it was a worrisome look.

"Let's give the spell to the client and after, I'll try and cast the spell." I said, hoping Natsu wouldn't worry that much.

"Okay." Was all he said. I slightly smile and head out the library, with the book in hand.

We reached our clients house and Sakura-San let us in.

"Did you complete the job?" She asked kindly. I nodded. Sakura smiled and handed us the reward of 700,000 jewels.

"Thanks lady!" Natsu thanked her. Sakura smiled.

"You're welcome! And I'm Sakura." She corrected Natsu. Natsu just grinned.

"Thanks again, Sakura-San!" I waved goodbye to her as we left her home. Now we need to find a big amount of space so I can try and cast Akirame.

We then found a whole lot of space so we went there and I gave the book to Natsu.

"I'm going to cast the spell now, so please don't worry about me. I'll be fine, Natsu." I told Natsu, trying to have him not worry about me. He didn't really say anything afterward, but I just shrugged it off.

"Okay, here goes." I said as I stepped back a little so I wouldn't be so close to Natsu. I raised up my hands and chanted,

"Death on one, life on the other, I call apon thee, Akirame!" I changed with my arms raised. I saw a black magic circle apear under me and I could feel a tremendous power coming from it, or more or less, coming from me. After a few seconds, something started to come out of the magic circle. It was a demon. W-wait! A d-demon?! It didn't say anything about a demon involved with this spell! Maybe this was the secret Natsu was talking about.

"Lucy!" Natsu yelled. I looked down and noticed that I was floating in midair. What? How is that possible? I saw that the demon fully emerged from the magic circle and was heading towards Natsu. I tried to stop the spell but I couldn't even move. How bad was this spell? Why did I even try it? I looked up at Natsu who was battling the demon that emerged from the magic circle, but I then noticed that even more demons emerged from the magic circle. How is that even possible?!

"Natsu! More demons... are coming!" I said. I'm starting to loose consciousness. Natsu looks back at me and the last thing I hear from him before falling unconscious was my name.

"Lucy!!!" Was the last thing I heard before I fell unconscious.

Natsu's POV

Lucy castes the spell Akirame and when she casted it, demons started emerging from the black magic circle underneath her. This was the secret in the book. I look back at Lucy and see that she's unconscious.

"Lucy!!!" I yell. She didn't even move. She said for me not to worry but I couldn't stop worrying at all. But right now, I had these demons to deal with.

"Fire dragon roar!!!" I yell and flames come out of my mouth. I get almost all of the demons, but there's one left. He actually looks vamiliar to me. Kinda looks like, wait! Is that Zeref?!

Chapter complete! Nooooo Lucy! Zeref apears! Dun dun duuuun! May not be that long of a chapter but who cares, I at least updated! Just 5 more chapters until I'm finished with this fanfic! Still want me to do a sequel? Well now's the time to ask before I finish this fanfic! I have to say, the ending of this fanfic is gonna be sad. I'm not spoiling tho! Well, I kinda am. Anyway, I gotta go fer now guys. Bai! Pinky out!
