Chapter 6

(Lucy's POV)

'What kind of job is this?!' I thought.
"Luce." Natsu started.
"Don't be scared. Everything's going to be alright. Trust me." Natsu gave me a smirk. It was getting dark in the cave so Natsu lit his hand up as a torch. We were looking at the walls of the cave. We found some writing on the wall.
"What does it say Luce?" Natsu asked.
"Hm, let's see. It says, 'To escape this cave, one must endure a kiss to exit this cave'."
"A kiss?" Natsu said.
"W-what?! A kiss?!" I shrieked.
"I-I guess we have no choice." Natsu said.
"N-Natsu, what are you-" I was cut off by a warm kiss on my lips. We pulled away once we heard rumbling. The walls lifted up and me and Natsu were able to exit the cave. Me and Natsu's faces were as red as a tomato. We started to see some light at the end of the cave. Then I started to wonder, 'Were Erza and Gray in the same situation as me and Natsu?' That gave a me a shocked feeling when I thought about that. We started to hear voices coming from the other side of the cave.
"Natsu! Lucy! Where are you?" Me and Natsu heard Erza calling for us. Natsu started sprinting out if the cave leaving me behind. I finally caught up, but I was almost out of breath.
"Where were you two?" Erza asked.
"Well, we were, um, trapped in the cave." I responded
"What? Me and Gray weren't trapped in the cave at all." Erza said.
Behind me and Erza were Natsu and Gray fighting.
"Ice pervert!" Natsu yelled.
"Flame for brains!" Gray yelled back.
"The both of you! KNOCK IT OFF!" Erza was furious with the two of them.
"We are going back to the guild. This job was a fake request. I could tell by how the man asked me if I read the job request well. Sorry you didn't get your rent money Lucy." Erza said.
"It's okay." I answered. Hopefully I can forget my kiss I had with Natsu.
