Chapter 11

Natsu's POV

As I'm walking over to Lucy, Gray bumped into me.

"Hey! Watch where you're going, ice stripper!" I yell at him.

"What?! You bumped into me, flame brain!" He yelled back.

"No! You did!" I yell.

"You did!" He yelled again. We both eventually started to fight. I turned to look at Lucy who had just left the bar. Dang it!

"What're you staring at?" He asks suspicious.

"N-no-nothing!" I reply quickly. Gray then gave me a confused look, then shrugged.

"Eh, whatever!" Gray goes away to continue looking for his pants.

I look at the bar and notice that Lucy isn't there anymore. Where'd she go? I ask myself. I just shrug and walk over to Mirajane.

"Hey Mira, where's Lucy?" I ask her.

"Oh, she went home. She said that she had some things to do." Mira replied. I nodded and left the guild to go find Lucy.

Once I finally got to Lucy's house, I climbed up to her window and jumped inside. But before I did, I saw Lucy writing something at her desk. It looked like she was writing her novel but I jumped in anyway.

"Yo Luce!" I said as I jumped through the window and land on her bed. She flinched and turned toward me.

"What are you doing here?!" She yelled. I smiled at her.

"To hang out with you!" I said. She just shrugged.

"Fine, you can stay. But only for a little bit!" She said. I smiled again. I had to tell, or ask her something. She was still sitting at her desk, writing her novel.

"Hey, Luce?" I stared. she turned around in her chair.

"What?" She replied.

"I, uh, wanted to ask you something." I continue.

"What do you want to ask me?" She responds.

"Do, you, uh, like me?" I look away a little.

"As a friend, yes." She answered.

"No, not that. I mean do you like me, like me?" I ask. She looked at me for a moment.

"Well, I, um." Lucy spoke. I looked back up at her.

"I'm asking you this because I actually l-love you!" I confess. Lucy's eyes were widened for a bit.

"But Natsu, we promised that we'd only stay friends." Lucy replied. I look down at the ground.

"I know but, I don't wanna be just a friend to you, Lucy." I said. I looked back up at Lucy and I saw her smile a little.

"If you want to be more than just a friend to me, come here!" Lucy smiled. I got up and walked toward her. I got to Lucy, and she grabbed my scarf and smacked her lips against mine. We kissed for a few seconds and then we pulled away.

"Luce I-" I started but was cut off by Lucy.

"Natsu, to tell you the truth, I love you too. I have ever since that kiss we had before. I didn't want to tell you because I felt like if I did, you probably wouldn't have feelings for me. But you did." Lucy said. My eyes were widened a little, but then I smiled as well. Lucy then hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Luce, I love you." I finally respond. She looks up at me, smiling brightly.

"Me too, I love you too, Natsu!" She replies. She hugs me tighter and I do the same.

It was already getting late so I decided to go home. I said goodnight to Lucy, and she waved.

"Goodnight Lucy! See ya tomorrow!" I wave to her as I exit her house.

"Night Natsu!" She smiles to me as I leave.

Lucy's POV

"Goodnight Lucy! See ya tomorrow!" Natsu waves to me as he leaves my house.

"Night Natsu!" I smile at him as he leaves. Well, it's time for me to go to bed so I walked over to my closet, put on my pjs, and got into my bed. As I lied in my bed, the thought of Natsu was in my mind before I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

- The next day -

Still Lucy's POV

I walk into the guild and go sit at the bar where Mira is, cleaning some cups.

"Hi Mira!" I wave at her. Mirajane turns toward me and smiles.

"Hello Lucy! You want anything to eat?" She asks me kindly. I nod.

"May I have some pancakes?" I ask politely. She smiles then nods.

"Sure thing Lucy!" Mira turns around and starts to prepare pancakes for me. I look around the guild and notice that Natsu isn't here yet. He's probably still sleeping. I look back at Mira, who's still preparing the pancakes. A little while later, Mira finishes the pancakes.

"Here you go Lucy!" Mirajane smiles as she pours syrup on the pancakes. I grab a fork and dig into my pancakes.

"Want a drink with that also, Lucy?" Mira asks. I nod, with some pancakes in my mouth.

"Okay, what would you like?" She asks again. I gulp down the pancakes in my mouth and respond.

"Orange juice." I reply. Mira nods and gets the Orange juice. As I continue to eat my pancakes, someone taps my shoulder. I turn and see the pink haired Natsu grinning.

"Hey Luce!" He grins. I gulp down my pancakes again and reply.

"Hey Natsu!" I smile. Mira places down the Orange juice for me and I take a sip. Natsu sits beside me and Mira gives Natsu a chicken leg. I finish eating my pancakes and drinking my juice, and hand my dishes to Mira. I then look over at Natsu who has just finished eating his chicken leg. I got up and walked toward an empty table and sat down with Natsu.

"Luce, you wanna go on a job?" Natsu asked me. I nodded.

"Let's get Gray and Erza to come along too, along with Happy as well." I suggested. Natsu nodded. We both walked over to the table that Gray and Erza were sitting at.

"Hey guys, wanna go on a job with us?" I ask them. They both nod.

"Sounds like a plan!" Gray says.

"Alright! But first let me finish my cake." Erza said. She was finishing her cake until Gray bumped into her and she dropped her cake.

"Oops. I'm sorry Erza!" Gray yelled a little. Erza gave him a death glare.

"You ruined my... Strawberry cake. I'll kill you!" Erza yelled at Gray. Gray then scurried around the guild trying to avoid Erza. Both me and Natsu stood at their table, waiting for Erza to calm down.

"Natsu!" Happy called from behind us.

"Hey Happy! We're gonna go on a job, but right after Erza stops chasing Gray, trying to kill him." Natsu replied. Happy nodded and hopped onto the table.

A little while later, Erza finally stopped chasing Gray around. We then picked out a job and left the guild. Our job was to find this plant. It's a very rare plant and the job pays 300,000 jewels. We'll also have to face dangerous monsters along the way. We got to the train station and boarded the train. I had Natsu sit next to me.

After about 2 hours on a train, we finally got to the town where our client was. We got to our clients house, showed our client the request, and went to go search for the plant.

Hai guys! Sry I haven't updated in a month, again. What did you guys think of the chapter? I did make it longer a little. The next chapter will be them on their job. Not like the first one. Anyway, I gtg fer now guys, bai! Pinky out!
