"Mum, can you read my new article?" said Y/N. "Sorry I'm busy, go ask Polly" said Alice. "Ok..." said Y/N. Y/N goes to find her sister Polly. "I'm busy with the twins right now, sorry" said Polly. "I'm uses't to it anyways" Y/N said sadly. "Y/N, want to talk?" said Betty.
Y/N storms out the door.
"What was that all about?" said Charles. "What is wrong with you?" Betty said angrily. "Nothing is wrong. She needs to learn to toughen up, she's just being over dramatic" Alice replied. "I agree with Mum" Polly said.
Betty runs after Y/N up to Y/N's bedroom.
Charles start to talk to Alice.
"She's 14 and trying to live up to your expectations Alice. Can't you try to be nice to her" Charles said angrily. "Don't stick up for her. She's just attention seeking" Alice replied. "No she's not, you have treated her like this her entire life" Charles shouted.
He goes up to Y/N's bedroom and he sees Y/N crying and hugging Betty. So he decides to join them in the hug.
"Don't listen to them Y/N, your amazing Y/N, don't ever forget that" Charles says to Y/N. "Clearly I'm not if my own mother and sister don't want me" Y/N replied. "Well your half-brother and your other sister love you to the moon and back" Charles replied. "That's right and no one can change that" Betty said.
Y/N starts crying even more and they just look at each other sorrowfully. They also felt helpless as they don't know what else to do. It's bedtime so Y/N goes to get ready for bed whilst Betty and Charles are in Y/N's bedroom waiting for Y/N. Once Y/N got in bed, she try's to fall asleep. Eventually she does. After Y/N fell asleep, they left Y/N's room to go talk to her mum and Polly.
"Why would you guys treat her like that? Why do you hate her?" Betty says to Alice. "Because Elizabeth she is a mistake and the worst one. Never achieves anything and is dumb, so why waste time on her when I have actual successful children" Alice replied. "Not to mention a pushover and a joke" Polly continues. "Weather you like it or not she is your daughter Alice and she loves you and she wants to be like you. She had a list of everything she can change herself to, so she can be just like you and you just criticise her and me and Betty have had enough of it. So it ends now!" Charles said tempestuously. " Also she's not dumb, if you cared to hold a conversation with her, then you would know she's the kindest person you'll ever meet" Betty continued. "Stop babying her, she's like 16" Polly said. "You don't even know her age" Betty complained. "I bet you don't know her age" Polly snapped. "14... Polly she's 14. She turned 14 last week" Betty said loudly. "Well whatever, why should we care?" Alice said. "SHE'S YOUR DAUGHTER AND SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND YOU TREAT HER LIKE MUD ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SHOES" Charles shouted really loud.
