It's been a week since the incident at Pops.
"Veronica how do you do this question?" Y/N asks. "Ok so you times what is in the first bracket by 5, then you times what is in the other bracket by 3, then add the answers together" Veronica says.
After ten minutes.
"Y/N you finally got it. Give me a high-five and before you ask I'm not being sarcastic" Betty said. "Sorry to interrupt the maths, but The office is set up also Y/N give me a high-five for doing well" Charles said.
Y/N high-fives him then Y/N and Betty pack up there stuff. Y/N says some thank yous and then they go to Charles's office which is a large office and they settle in. While Charles is letting Y/N plus Betty settle in Y/N asks Betty a very serious question.
"Betty please don't kill me for this question, but..." Y/N says. "Y/N I love you. I won't kill you, unless it's stupid" Betty replies. "Can, urm we maybe go visit dad? Before you get mad at me, I haven't seen him in 4 years and no one has let me see him" Y/N said frighteningly.
She looked shocked.
"It's ok... it's okay, I will take you to see him. It's not fair on you, but please don't let him poison your brain" Betty said. "I won't, but I need to see him" Y/N replied. "You don't need to explain, I understand. We can go tomorrow" Betty says.
Time skip to the next day when they are seeing their dad.
"Hi dad" Y/N said. "Hey sweetie" Hal replies. "Please don't call me sweetie" Y/N answers back. "Okay, well it's good to see you. It's been 4 years, what have they said to keep you away?" Hal said. "That your a murder, but I wanted to see you the whole time. But no one would let me. I mean, I didn't understand I was only 10" Y/N says back. "Which would make you 14 now, you have grown so much" Hal says. "You know more than mum and Polly" Y/N said. "Explain further?" Hal said confused. "Mum hates me, she calls me a mistake and a disappointment, stupid, dumb, worthless and much more. She's been doing it ever since you have been in here. Charles and Betty have now had enough and we have moved out" Y/N spills.
Hal doesn't know who Charles is but Y/N doesn't know that.
"You know your amazing right and she is stupid for not seeing that. You probably hate me, but I still love you. You are just pure innocent and kind. If I could go back, for your sake, I wouldn't be a murder. So I could just watch you grow up. So tell me how's school going?" Hal said kindly. "Maths is difficult, but I like ICT, I'm good at English and I'm on the school swim team" Y/N replies. "Wow, Y/N that's incredible. I'm super duper proud of you " Hal says.
Betty walks into the room.
"Y/N, come on, it's time to go. If you want you can come back if your desperate? Betty said. "Can I maybe come back?" Y/N asks. "Yep sure let's just go" Betty replies.
Y/N leaves and Betty asks what was said and Y/N tells her and then she starts to realize that Y/N just want something to remind her of home and a parental figure in her life. Then she relaxes a bit and is willing to let Y/N go back and talk to him. She knows that Y/N's finding it in tough without a nice parental figure, especially with her anxiety.
