That night Dream remembers raising the blanket up to Tubbo's ears.

"Get some sleep."

"Dream? Do you think...that when you're looking for Tommy tomorrow. Do you think, Mama will be with him?"

"What do you mean?"

"What if Mum saved him and they are just hiding somewhere? Or, what if she is already home now?"

"I- I don't know right now, Tubbo." Dream turned around and went to the door.

"Dream?"

"Yeah?" Dream didn't turn, he just kept his fingers on the switch and the other hand on the door knob.

"Mama wouldn't just leave us, right?" Tubbo's voice got shaky.

"Of course she wouldn't. She would be putting up a fight, and you know that." Dream turned around and looked at Tubbo who rested on his side with his elbows to prop himself up. Tubbo looked at the ground and his lips began to tremble. Dream looked at his teary eyes look at him. Tubbo sat up in the bed and raced his hands up to wipe them away.

"Tubbo-"

"I-I... I miss h-her." Dream went over to his little brother and wrapped his arms around him. Tubbo whimpered as he sobbed quietly, Dream rubbed his back.

"I do too. Don't cry.."

"I will bring her back." Dream felt his own eyes begin to sting.

"P-promise?"

"I promise...when you wake up tomorrow. I promise you, I will bring her home."

"Please Tubbo, get some rest." Dream let go of him and watched Tubbo nod. He sunk back into the bed.

"Good night."

"Night." Dream finally went to the light switch and closed the door gently. He went into the main room where everyone was marking maps.

"Dream?" Niki looked at him, he went over to them and peeked at Niki's map.

"Where did you get this?"

"Phil said he had an extra."

"Just incase we split up, someone will have a map and we will meet at this point here." Phil pointed to the green x.

"What's that?"

"It's a meadow. But in the middle of the meadow is a tree. That is where we will go." Dream nodded and studied the rest of the hand writing. Phil finished his final point and rubbed his eyes.

"I think that will be all, we should get some sleep. We have a lot to do tomorrow." Phil folded the map and tucked it away in his bag. Niki watched the two climb the stairs before she confronted Dream.

"Phil's going to stay in the room upstairs. Wilbur said he could sleep on the sofa, but there's a pull out in Tubbo's room. If that's alright?"

"Yeah, that's fine."

"Do you need some help with it?"

"No, no, thank you though." She smiled at his gently and threw the last blanket on the sofa. Dream went over to the table and peeked at the one map left. He snatched it and shoved it in his pocket before leaving the room entirely. In Tubbo's room, there was a small and dingy window. It opened but squeaked heavily, Dream opened it as soon as he walked in and covered it with the drapes. He was thankful there was no breeze. Dream placed the map in his bag and placed his sword along the sofa arm. Now all he had to do was wait.

Upstairs Wilbur and Phil held a brief conversation with one another.

"What do we do if we find them?"

"If they attack first, we attack back. Look at me Will." He detach his eyes from the floor and looked at his father.

"We don't have to kill to get Tommy back."

"Okay." Wilbur stepped back and awkwardly left the room, he brought his hands to his eyes and did his best to run the sleep out of them. As he trudged over to the bathroom he only went there to peer at himself. His eyes felt so heavy, but the eye bags were probably the culprit. Wilbur looked pale, he look deprived of happiness. Like he's been sad for a long time. He splashed his face with water and quickly left the room. He went down stairs when Niki was going up.

"You alright Will?"

"Fine, thanks again...for letting us stay here."

"Tommy and Puffy are important to me too, I couldn't just not go along with you guys." Wilbur nodded.

"Right..."

"Night, Wilbur."

"Night." She went up the stairs and Wilbur approached the sofa slowly. He plopped down and stared at his shaking hands.

"What was he doing?"

"What is he thinking?"

He got up and walked to the corridor, and opened Technoblade's door. Will flicked the switch and looked at his resting brother. He scooted a chair up to the edge of the bed and sat beside him.

"Phil tells me not too, but if I don't...they will just hurt everyone else. I don't know what to do Techno." Wilbur whispered to the unconscious boy.

"If I have to, I fell like I could, but I'm not sure. I don't know if I can take someone away from their loved ones like that. But they took my loved ones from me." Wilbur smacked the back of his hand to his palm as he finished his sentence.

"I'm so tired, Techno. Tommy's gone and you still haven't woken up- I just feel like it's my fault. All of this."

Wilbur jolted when the boy in front of him groaned as he coughed.

"It's not your fault." Weakly techno said, Wilbur smiled and reached out for his brothers touch. He hugged him tightly and already felt built up tears pour down his cheeks.

"Ow, ow, ow..."

"Sorry!" Wilbur returned to his seat and Techno grinned.

"How do you feel?"

"Thirsty, and achy."

"Oh I'll get you some water."

"Listen, don't go tell Phil." Techno caught Wilbur's wrist before he could get out of the room.

"Why?"

"Because, from how it's sounds...you guys are under a lot of stress. I don't want to be a burden."

"I'll talk to him when you guys come back."

"Alright..." Wilbur said unsure of himself, and if he could do such a thing.

"Promise?" Techno coughed and Wilbur grinned.

"How old are you?"

"Just fucking answer." Techno deadpanned and Wilbur smiled.

"I promise."
