"Phil! Stop!" Niki called after the man who hastily looked down at the boy then back up.

"Phil!" Niki grabbed his shoulder and Phil shoved her away.

"No! There is-"

"Phil!" Niki shouted, Phil looked down at the boy. He was pale and his head hung back in his arms. His arm loosely hanged down and he froze. The only noise was the sound of the flowing brook of water.

"He's gone, Phil."

"No, no, I song give up on my son that easy."

"Phil- please...stop this." Phil fell to the floor and rubbed Tommy's cold cheek with his thumb. He looked ahead at the familiar scenery.

He held the boy in his arms and stared at the water, Niki felt tears fall down her cheeks as she walked away from him. Wilbur looked ahead to see Niki shake her head.

"What?" She cried and raised a hand to her mouth.

"What? He- he's not...he-" Wilbur's burning eyes were too tired for tears. But they cried just like Niki's did.

"Your lying to me! Your fucking-" she shook her head.

"Stop it, just- he didn't..." Wilbur fell to the ground and cried softly. He punched the ground repeatedly until his knuckles bled.

"No! No! No...n-no.." he sobbed and fell on his back. His words stuttered out and softened by his crying.

Phil looked at the fish that swam, he chuckled and brushed Tommy's curls out of his face.

"You found a home, Tommy."
