It was your 16th birthday. You stood in the hall where your big party was. It was about time to open gifts.
First, you got a lot of great things from your friends, but you couldn't wait to see what your parents got you because they kept saying to you how excited you should be.
Eventually, it was time. You stood, blindfolded, waiting until your parents said that you could take it off.
The suspense was killing you.
Soon you heard a familiar British voice say, "Happy Birthday!"
You rip off your blindfold to see Nathan Sykes, and the rest of The Wanted standing in front of you. You scream and run up and hug him. Music starts and he starts slow dancing with you. You can't believe that this is actually happening.
At the end of the song, Nathan pulls you into a back room.
All you can hear is the sound of yours and his breathing.
"Be my girlfriend," he says quietly.
"But, Nathan, we just met!" you exclaim.
"I know, but I know that you're the one for me!"
You feel the same way.
"Ok, of course! I love you, Nathan!"
"I love you, too!" he says happily, pulling you in and kissing you. This was your best birthday every!
