Qin had Katara fill him in on some details, firstly it appeared that Korra had issues when it came to the element of air. Well, that was why he was here, to help her with it. If he was being honest he was looking for to seeing her again.

An image of a little girl throwing snow at him crossed his mind and he couldn't help but smile.

"Just to warn you, Korra is very... Hotheaded." Katara explained with some worry. Qin merely glanced over to her.

"How hotheaded are we talking about?" Qin wanted to get a gauge, of how much of a resistance he was gonna have to deal with later.

"Well on a scale of one to ten, I'd give her a twenty."

"So it's that bad?"

"Enough talk." The White Lotus Leader spoke, they were preparing to watch Korra's final fire bending test. Qin rolled his eyes at him, someone needed to loosen up a little.

Qin leaned against a pillar and looked ahead, not long a young woman came forward. He was surprised it was Korra, she had grown quite a lot since the last time he had seen her. She was no longer a little girl but a young woman.

She was dressed in bending equipment, ready to take on her fire bending test. She was going up against expert firebenders as part of her test. He watched her and only looked in interest. She launched one of her opponents onto the roof of where they were at.

"She's strong," Katara commented.

"She lacks restraint." The White Lotus leader retorted.

"Not bad," Qin said as he watched her beat her last opponent.

"Whoo-hoo!" Korra cheered out in victory, Qin could only chuckle the White Lotus only frowned at her, and Katara only smiled, "Hey, what's with all the doom and gloom, people? We should celebrate. Three elements down, one to go."

"You're getting ahead of yourself as usual, Korra. We haven't decided if you passed your fire bending test yet." Her fire-bending instructor, Master Yim told her.

"Ever since you were a little girl you've excelled at the physical side of bending but completely ignored the spiritual side. The Avatar must master both." The leader of the White Lotus said.

"I haven't ignored it, it just doesn't come as easy to me," Korra explained to them.

"What do you think, Qin?" Katara said putting the attention on the man next to her, causing the girl to look at him with interest as she hadn't seen him before.

"Well, she seems, at least excited, why not? She seems ready." Qin said, believing the girl had what it took to begin her air-bending training.

The White Lotus were reluctant, but they knew Qin was a seasoned bender and had a good choice, if she wasn't ready he would have said it without a second of thought, "Very well, Korra. It's time for you to begin your air-bending training."

"Yes! Finally!" Korra cheered before she noticed the looks she was getting, Katara didn't lose her smile, Qin only sighed at her, at least she didn't lose her enthusiasm. That was good to see.

"I mean... Thank you all for believing in me." Korra then walked off to who knows where.

"She what do you think?" Katara asked suddenly gaining Qin's attention.

"Do you think she's ready?" The White Lotus leader asked him.

"Hmm... She's good, and talented, more so than any other Avatar I've seen. But that talent is only gonna get her so far." Qin stated, "You told me she can't air bend, right?" Katara nodded, "Well it's easy to see why?"
