2. Training

Your mother gave you a little nod allow you to leave. You turned to Jake, taking a few steps forward.

-"Follow me, Jake," you called him, and he quickly follow you.

You went up to the third floor of the tree. You looked a few times behind you to see if he was following you and if he was okay. You walked on the ground to the other side of the entrance, where were the two tall branches that intertwined, and on them was a giant cloth that acted as a curtain.

-"Come in." you told him, pulling the cloth with one hand to signal him to come in, which he did.

His gaze wandered through the giant tree that was home to you and the other na'vi. He entered through the curtain, and you followed him. This place was like a room, with logs to sit on; there were tables with cloth, sticks, stones on them; the walls were littered with bags full of seeds, flowers, and other plants; he could see a large bowl the size of a pot, full of water; and there were other things.

-"Sit down." you pointed to the logs. Sully just nodded and sat down while you rummaged through the tables. Finally you came to him with a bowl of water, a towel, some leaves and another small bowl with some yellow substance inside. -"Can you take off your shirt?"

-"Why? Is that why you brought me here to see me without a shirt?" he joked with you, having a sly smile on his face. You just tilted your head in confusion, trembling your ears.

-"I have to clean your wounds and bandage them, otherwise the wound will be infected." you replied, to which he issued a small "Oh". Already realizing what you wanted, he took off his torn shirt and placed it next to him. Your eyes widened at the sight of his wounds. -"What happened?" you asked, to which he looked at you confused before he understood what you mean.

-"Oh, first I was chased by some giant black creature that didn't leave me until I jumped off a rock and fell a hundred meters into a waterfall..."

-"You were pursued by palulukan?" you asked in surprise.

-"Apparently that's what it's called, but yes, he's chased me, it was kind of fun, but I wouldn't do it again" you took the already wet towel and carefully wiped the dirt and blood from his wounds. -"And then I was attacked by some smaller black predators who wanted to skin me alive."

-"Nantang." you replied.

-"Ummm, yes, but your sister came and saved me. She's very ferocious." that made you giggle.

-"She is."

And while we were talking about the wolf, he came to our doorstep. Neytiri entered through the curtain, attracting your attention.

-"The food is ready, you should be with us by now."

-"I just have to bandage his wounds and give him the new clothes and we will come." you sent a warm smile to your little sister, to whom she could not help but respond. -"If we're late, please save food for us."

-"Um... Hey?" Jake said, looking at your sister. - "Thank you for saving me a few times, I owe you." this clearly returned Neytiri to her stoic expression.

-"Don't thank me, thank my sister, she told me not to kill you." she replied, leaning her body slightly toward the man. -"The only reason you're here, not eaten or killed, is because of my sister." and with that she came out of the little room, leaving you both alone again.

-"Wow..." Sully muttered, looking back at you. -"I..." you raised your hand, stopping him.

-"Don't thank me." you said as you applied the yellow cream to his wounds. -"Sorry for my sister, she has a bad experience with the skypeople and it is difficult for her to trust them again, when you get to know her she is kinder." he said nothing, instead let you heal his wounds. -"So Jarhead clan?" you asked with a sneer, causing him to stumble in his words.
