You guys acting pretty suspicious

"You have a cat?" Trixie asked. "Since when?"

Sunset bit her lip. She wasn't exactly sure how to say "my friends and I have been entering Barbie movies and are basically changing Pinkie's entire set of DVDs because stuff happens and she knows what's supposed to happen in the movies but we somehow screw up something."

She had just been so close to getting her stuff together so they could get into Mermaidia when Trixie stopped by to say hi.

And to say the scarlet paintbrush from Barbie as Rapunzel definitely raised some quesitons.

"You have a cat that's really into art, and has a paintbrush as a chew toy," Trixie narrowed her eyes.

Sunset gulped.

"You know, you and your friends have all been acting pretty weird lately," Trixie thought aloud. "You disappear all the time, and when you show up again, I've noticed little changes. Fluttershy hasn't been so scared of anything much lately."

Probably because she just realized that a lot of her fears could be conquered the same way she destroyed Wenlock with the Wand of Light, Sunset thought.

"And Applejack? Getting hooked up at seventeen?" Trixie added. "It's not like her. And she's never talked about having a love interest before."

Yeah, well, Anneliese was in the same position, getting married to Dominick when she was seventeen, and since AJ had to pretend to be Anneliese, and therefore had time with Dominick... Sunset thought.

"And when did your necklaces get wings?" Trixie asked.

In Fairytopia, when we defeated Laverna and the Enchantress gave us and Elina wings.

"And then the paintbrush?"

Part of Rapunzel's crystal hairbrush, and can paint portals to other places and other worlds.

"And then Rarity suddenly scared whenever she hears music from that one black swan scene from Swan Lake?"

Uh... because she was that black swan, since Rothbart forced her to.

Trixie didn't say anything else.

Sunset felt her forehead begin to bead with sweat.

"Sunset, darling!" Rarity exclaimed, grabbing Sunset's arm and linking it with her own. "You promised me that you would help me bathe Opal today! Oh, that cutie! Well, come on, we can't be late! She's waiting for us!"

Sunset shoved the brush deeper into her pocket as they walked away.

"I owe you one," she said as they arrived to the other five Equestria Girls.

"What took so long?" Pinkie asked.

"Just Trixie somehow noticing everything that's changed about us so far and it's making her suspicious," Sunset spewed out.

Applejack's eyes widened as she gripped a fist around Dominick's ring.

"Give her some time," Twilight reassured. "That girl can barely stay on an investigation for long."

Sunset wasn't ready to admit that Trixie was one of the main people who had helped her out when everyone had lost all of their good memories of her.

But she felt a little worried as the previews came into the TV.

How much did Trixie know?

Could she ask one of the Guardians to secretly come and erase Trixie's memories?

Could she try and piece back the Memory Stone together, just for that purpose?

She lost time to think of ways out as she felt her geode pull her closer to the screen, the screen itself frozen on Elina and her new wings.
