Warm sunlight seeped into the room, gently kissing his dimple to wake him up. Ashwin rubbed his eyes and stretched on the couch that he was lying in. A smile crept into his face realizing where he was. He turned to his left to see his girl sound asleep, curled up under the blanket. With her face half-hidden behind the quilt and her hair all messy, she was no less than a beautiful painting to his sight, a blissful sight to wake up to indeed. He could get used to it but never get bored. He felt this sudden urge of pulling her closer to him and whispering sweet nothings in her ears. Not just for today, he was a little greedy to ask for it every morning, all his lifetime, to wake up snuggled in each other's arms.

"Epdi sir? Kanavulaye vazha poringala?" His inner voice mocked at him.

His face immediately fell straight by the insult but his lips curved into a smile thinking about the possibilities if he makes things right.

It was only 7:30 in the morning and he was very sure she would not wake up anytime soon so he just laid there on the couch for a little longer admiring his sleeping beauty. He would have written a thesis on how she breaths, that was how meticulously he watched her sleep. She stirred and breathed in sharp before bundling up more. He realized the AC temperature was too cold for her. He grabbed the control, set it accordingly, and got back to his staring business.

"Aauhh waah ahh!" She babbled aggressively trying to explain something to someone in her sleep and turned to the other side.

"Thukathulayum avalo rowdyism! Yara ma apdi kai neeti meratura!" He was startled by her sudden movement.

It was half-past 8 when he checked his watch and he realized he has been lying there and just staring at her for the last one hour with a smile plastered to his face. He sat up half-heartedly and walked to the washroom to freshen up.

When the sunlight finally managed to inch into her bed she huffed and squirmed to the farther end of the bed. He couldn't help but giggle at the way she was annoyed while sleeping when he got out.

He called up the room service and placed a breakfast order for her. They were quick enough to bring the food to the doorstep in 15 minutes.

"Sivaangi" He called out her name gently.

There was no response.

"Sivaangi ma" He called out a little louder.

"Mmmmm" She grumbled.

"Maa endhiri ma. Its 9."

"Mmm..." She whined.

She would have sat up with her eyes wide open and looked at him as if he was a ghost if she had known who was trying to wake her up. That's what she eventually did when he tenderly patted to wake her and said "Ma" in his raspy voice. For a second she wondered if she was dreaming all of that.

Ignoring her bemusement he pushed the serving trolley next to her bed.

"Ma fresh ayitu vandhu breakfast saptu, ready ayidu. Take these tablets after food" He said pealing a few tables and placed them next to the plate.
