Chapter 19: The Truth behind the Pain

(Still Gaara’s POV)

There was an awkward silence after the harsh words fight. I just saw Tenten looking at the ground then cried. Well, of course you’ll cry after those harsh words. Worst part is, everyone was already looking at us when I grabbed his collar and up until now. I just hate the public and I hope there’s no media in here. After a few short seconds, Tenten looked at him without even drying up her tears. “Y-Yeah, I-I’m so s-sorry to have been a trouble to you in t-the f-first place.”, she said while still crying that’s why her voice was broken. The guy didn’t just say anything and looked away. Then, Tenten grabbed my hand then dragged me outside.

We were at the canteen I think. She still won’t stop crying.

“H-Hey, would you stop crying? It doesn’t look good on you.”, I said.

“I-I’m sorry! I-It’s just that,”, she said while rubbing and drying her eyes, “He was my best friend, my first best friend and he just said those harsh words to me?! It just hurts.”

I got my handkerchief out from my pocket then gave it to her. She accepted it then wiped it on her tears, “You don’t need to cry because of him! He’s not so important anyway! There are other more important persons that are deserving  for your tears. I’ll just don’t say stuff like what he said, as your friend.”, I said.

“I’m afraid that was what he said at first too.”, she said.

“I’m not like him. I won’t hurt you. Promise!”

“I’m glad if you can do that.”, she finally smiled. “Let’s go eat for a while. Eating will calm my mind.” And so we ate.

She looks so innocent. What does onee-sama want with her so much?! She means no harm. But it’s her order to me. I won’t betray onee-sama, no matter what. I’ll just have to earn her trust and when the right time comes, I’ll lead her to onee-sama’s place without her knowing that she is being captive. Predators must catch his/her prey, in a very careful manner.

(Neji’s POV)

“Oh yeah, I should have done that! Then you should have got pregnant or even got murdered and I’ll live happily without any damn b!tch on the way! I could have lived happily and not to be around with a judgmental b!tch like you who doesn’t even care to know what really happened!”, I shouted at her. I just slipped my words because when it comes to insulting and blaming me because of family I just burst out! Now I took it all in her! STUPID! X(

Everybody was staring, no erase the staring, glaring at me, real bad. Then Pres started walking near to me then grabbed me to the back of the stage; the stage where the showdown was held. Then she let me go and her hands were on her waist. “Ok, start explaining now! And make sure you have a good one, good enough to forgive you!”, she said.

“Wh-What are you talking about?!”, I asked, though I know what it is all about. Then I just looked away.

She spanked me on my arm real hard and shouted, “What do you mean ‘WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT’?!?! You just did something horrible! And you are going to explain or I’ll just kill you!”
