Chapter 5: Roses that grow with Weeds

(Hinata’s POV)

I wish I could tell you. . . But I just can’t.

“ Tell Naruto-san what, Hina-chan? “ , I was shocked when someone said that at my back. It was Ten-chan.

“ Umm. . . uhh . . . NOTHING! Hehehe ” , I couldn’t tell her.

“ Come on tell me! I won’t spill the beans. Promise! “

“ Ok. I probably should tell you. I actually like- “ I gulped. “ Naruto-kun. “ , I whispered.

“ REALLY?! “

“ SSHH!! Please don’t say it out loud!!! >/////<   But anyway, he doesn’t like me back. He likes Sakura-sama. . . “

“ You mean the Pres? “

“ Yeah. “

Suddenly she pats me on the back. “ I think you should tell him your feelings. I mean if he doesn’t really like Sakura-sama and he likes you, nothing would happen if you keep those feelings inside you. You will always feel sad and feels that you lack of something. You should tell him! Believe me it works! “

“ Did you have  a boyfriend before? “ , I asked her.

  I was passing by while my earphones on when Tenten called me. “ Sasuke-san! “

After few minutes of explaining. . .

“ So I’ll stand as Naruto for a while so that Hinata can practice confessing for him?! “ , I think I’m getting the idea. I knew this day would come. I just can’t believe it’s today and I’m just a dummy of a dumb person!  T^T

“ Oh well, since I don’t have anything to do besides running away from girls, I’ll do it. “

“ Go Hina-chan. It’s just a practice. “ , Tenten pushed her towards me.

Hinata pat me in my shoulder and said , “ This is just a practice, ok Sasuke-san? “ I don’t care Hinata, as long you say those words to me before him and be happy, I’m already contented. =’)

“ Umm. . . all this time. I actually have this ‘ something ‘ on you. The truth is all this time. . . I. . . actually. . . “  Hinata was having a hard time saying it. And I’m having a hard time because I think I also want to express my feelings to her.

Thanks Hinata, if you said that to me and I mean for me only, we could have been together by now. I don’t want you to be with Naruto but if it makes you happy, I’ll be happy too.

I heard Neji’s voice, “ Wow! I didn’t know you were a two-timer! “ He must have seen the scene.

“ ONII-SAN!!? ”

After a few minute. . .

“ So you’re trying to confess to Naruto? How could you get any stupidier?! But since I have no idea about confessing, I’ll just cheer you up. =_= “, Neji finally gets it.

“ Yeah! You can do it “ , Tenten shouted. All of them are with them, Naruto and Hinata. They want the two of them to be together. We just weren’t mean to be! Nobody wants us to be together! I ran as fast as I could, away from them. Ok I admit: I JUST DON’T WANT NARUTO AND HINATA TO BE TOGETHER! I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER! DAMN IT!

“ Wait! Sasuke-san!!! “Tenten yelled. But I ignored it. I ran and ran and ran away! Suddenly Tenten was already in front of me! She’s quick! I stopped running. “ What do you want? I did my job already! “ , I asked her.

“ But you didn’t cheer up Hina-chan yet! What’s wrong with you? Don’t you want them to be together?! “

“ No! I don’t want them to be together, ok?! I want us to be together! I like her! But I’m not a judge! I can’t judge her nor her crush! I’m just a stupid sh!t on the way! “ , I got so furious and angry I don’t know why.

The suddenly she pat me on the head, “ That’s why Hina-chan needs you. When she gets dumped, you’ll cheer her up and she’ll realize that you guys are meant together. I know how it feels, the feeling of not being together with the one you like, but someday you’ll realize that there is someone for you. “ , then she smiled. This girl’s very different. She understands me. Does she have a relationship with someone already? O_o

“ Come on! Let’s cheer Hina-chan! “, she said. I followed her then when we get there, Hinata was sitting on the floor. Did she get dumped?!

“ Hinata, are you ok?! “ , I ran toward her.

She looked at me in the eye. “ I wasn’t able to confess to him. I’m sorry. “

“ Get up. “ I held her hands then helped her get up. “ I know you will confess to him, when the right time comes. “ I smiled, just trying to cheer her up. She smiled back, then when I looked at Tenten, she winked at me.

Sasuke and Hinata are like Roses that grow with weeds.

They grow with someone whom they have 1% possibility of being together.

But they know when love is strong and true,

it will find a way.
