Chapter 21: Tears and Smiles

(Neji’s POV)

I am now in the stupid newbie’s ball. I followed him and Tenten all the way here since I’m still curious and all. Since the ball needs a partner and my cousins are all busy, I just invited Pres to come. I just wore a mask so that Tenten won’t recognize me.

“I’m really sorry to trouble you, Pres.”, I said.

“Don’t worry. As long as you convince your crush to tell her why she’s running away from you is fine with me.”, she said back. Why do I have the feeling that she might blackmail me?! 0_0

We saw the two of them dancing waltz. You know the ballroom thingy with exchanging of partners and such.

“Let’s make our way through dancing, then I’ll exchange my partner with her.”, I whispered to Pres.

“Got it!”, Pres agreed then we danced. We went near to them so that it’ll be easier to partner up with Tenten.

Then it was about time. Pres whispered, “I’ll go after you guys will be partners. I have more important things to finish. Good luck, Mr. Secretary.”

I nodded then we exchanged partner. Man Tenten was beautiful! 0/////0

I mean let’s stick to the point! Tenten and I danced and I really want to introduce myself but she might not listen if she knew who I am. I’ll just have to ask her and convince her to talk to me why she keeps on running away.
