"changbin hyung, movie night is starting~! even the popcorn is ready so come on!" jeongin's voice echoed across the dorm. 

changbin quickly got up and rushed to the living room, where the rest of the group was already settled down and waiting for him. he sat on the floor next to felix and in between seungmin's and hyunjin's legs. thankfully the velvety carpet was soft and cushiony so it didn't feel like they were directly sitting on the hard wooden floor. felix was quick to wrap an arm around his waist and pull him closer.

at around 20 minutes into the first movie, the main character walked into a dog park, where many different dogs with varying behaviors were shown.

hyunjin was quick to make a comment, "hey, that's our seungmin!" pointing at one of the more calmer dogs that was a jack russel terrier, "he's so nice and reserved compared to the others," he teased and pat him on the head.

the others chuckled and were quick to agree. a few other comments were passed around, comparing some other members to the dogs on screen, chan being compared to a great dane who was strong and obedient, yet still capable of outperforming some of the newer dogs. jeongin was the energetic labrador and minho was the corgi just trying to keep up with one of the trainer's over the top tricks.

and then changbin was compared to an australian shepherd who was not only completely ignoring the trainer, but was also going ahead and disturbing other dogs while they were training by trying to play with them. it was almost as if the dog was trying to form a mutiny against the trainers by refusing to comply to the orders.

jisung was the first to say this, laughing along with the other members as they jokingly mocked and belittled him. they kept on repeating things like "changbin hyung, roll," or "changbin hyung, high-five!"

although none of it was ill-intended, he was overwhelmed by the surge of orders and felt disoriented. he tried to cuddle felix to seek comfort although even he was teasing him. 

the poor hybrid was already having trouble suppressing his urges and keeping his identity a secret, until he heard the words "bad boy".

"n-no! i'm a good boy!" changbin desperately screamed, eyes tearing up. his ears and tail almost immediately appeared because he couldn't control himself and conceal them.

he wasn't even able to distinguish who'd actually said that as his world immediately started closing in and he started hyperventilating. this was the first time in a while that he was having a panic attack. very quickly, he was brought back to his torment and the root of his trauma.

10 years ago, yongin, breeding facility

it wasn't the first changbin was getting in trouble for fighting back when they tried to experiment on him. he didn't want them to hurt him again so he instinctively fought back. as he realized his mistake, he turned around and tried to run, only to trip and fall flat on his face.
