"it's really, really nice, chan-hyung!" changbin said excitedly as he and his husband arrived in their hotel room. he plopped himself down on the king-sized bed, gazing out of the large window onto the beach.

it was mid-june, changbin having married chan in just a few days before. they both had agreed to spend a week in jeju.

chan, on the other hand, had already started unpacking their clothes, chuckling slightly at his husband. he quickly hid a black box in a bundle of clothes, putting it in the back of the shelf near the television.

"so, what do you wanna do first?" chan asked changbin, who was still looking through the window.

"we can shower and go eat dinner at a fancy restaurant," changbin said while turning back, "been craving seafood for a while, how about that?"

"sure, we'll be there at 8, that's okay, right?"

the other nodded and started picking out some clothes.

"i'm almost ready, hyung!" changbin said for what seemed to be the tenth time. he'd locked himself in the bathroom, trying to look his best for tonight. he was doing his hair and added some light makeup. for one last time, changbin checked himself out in the mirror, satisfied with his clothes. he wore a button-up untucked white blouse over loose pants. when he opened the door, chan was waiting right in front. he lifted his gaze from his phone and his eyes widened.

"changbin~ you're way too cute right now, I could eat you up!" he said, half-jokingly. he, on the other hand, was wearing a short-sleeved black blouse that showed off his muscular forearms, simple black pants, and white shoes.

"you look cute too, hyung." changbin said, looking away so the older wouldn't see him blushing.

the taller held out his hand, and changbin took it quickly, both of them heading out. while they walked there, they discussed their plans for when they came back. changbin dreamed of opening a small coffee shop near the old library downtown, and his husband was on board. they loved to plan it out together when they were younger, still just teenagers in love.

changbin wanted it to be dark academia themed, and his husband planned the layout. chan was an architect major after all, which helped.

they entered the restaurant and were guided to their table by an employee. they sat at their reserved table and started ordering, changbin insisting on some lover's specials. violin played in the back, which really added to the vibe. it was decorated with traditional korean paintings. the walls were made of a dark wood, and there were sliding doors that separated some people into private rooms.

"chan-hyung, this place is beautiful. we should've thought of this sooner!" he said while looking around, taking in the setting.

after a bit, their food came, and changbin didn't even wait, starved and amazed by how good this food looked. the older just gazed at him quietly, letting him try his food.
